Freedom Munitions has really stepped up and is a huge contributor to our sport. I would recommend using their 55 gr .223 all day. Their ammo has a proven track record. Kalani

Mitch, When I buy in bulk, I prefer the Sierra 69 SMK. It is the only bullet I have been able to get MOA or better results with across of a huge variety of barrels. Every barrel I own prefers a different load, but I can always rely on the Sierra 69 SMK to get decent performance. Kalani

Hey guys, I was wondering what the best airport is to fly into? Also, is there a match hotel or a list of preferred hotels for this match? I know we are shooting Monday and Tuesday night, are we finishing up Tuesday night afterwards or do we come back to the range on Wednesday for the awards ceremony? I just need to make flight reservations and I wonder if it is ok to book a flight for Wednesday night. Thanks, Kalani

Did you get enough time with em to use the twins in FL? No, I did not use it in FL. I played with it for maybe ten minutes and was getting sub 7 sec load 8s. Unfortunately, due to huge time constraints of back to back matches, I wasn't able to take them to the practice field and test loading on the move. I'll tell you what, though, I got to watch James and Patrick lay the smack down with the TWinS system and it was impressive. Kalani

This, all day. My Samson Evo Handguards have done everything I have asked of them in every situation presented. Already this year I have mounted a light to it. Later this year my main 3G rifle will be getting a bipod, laser,and light for the Midnight match. It is versatile, lightweight and very sturdy. Kalani

The rifle should include 3 sections of rail which attach easily to the Samson Evolution Handguard. 2 x 2" and 1 x 4". If it doesn't, PM me and I'll send you what you need. Kalani

Puma, congratulations on your new rifle. I have found that the Model 3G barrels prefer the 69 grain bullets, so I would start there. I typically use 69 gr SMK bullets with a velocity of 2800ish. Jesse uses the Titan Brake. I used the Rolling Thunder last year. This year I will probably be using the Surefire Brake as I prefer to use a can during practice and training.
