Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. we had a shooter on our squad with a 35 doubling last month... checked the splits and they were .09; if you have a timer, check the splits when you think you're getting a double.
  2. I'm also not a candidate for LASIK, and my step dad had this done a couple of years ago, with incredible results.... can't figure why my eye doc didn't ever mention this... (maybe because they get a referral fee for LASIK patients???)
  3. Excellent post... I have been shooting for ~8-9 months, and have reached a plateau trying to figure out how to improve and what to work on... outstanding information.
  4. I can go either way... I wouldn't mind Cool Springs, but EAGC is fine also. Jim
  5. The actual number to be eaten varies directly with how many are available (hopefully NOT SHARING!!!). One dozen, two dozen...., makes no difference...
  6. What a blast... not quite a memory stage, but if you forget where you are, you're sunk... First stage I've ever shot that was designed for more than 32 rounds. (I think the Field of Steel @ Area 6 wound up being a 46 round - or more - stage... OUCH!)
  7. 7.70 sec 54 pts 7.0130 h.f. Limited yesterday. Calculator says: 73.8% - my best classifier by over 10% points.
  8. Looks like a blast... also my first time shooting a stage more than 32 rounds... (at least one designed for more than 32 rounds)... I'm sure someone will remind you of the 2nd reload, Boz!!!
  9. Any experience with this... looks like a great idea.

    Idiots,

I'm sure we'll see your "friend" in the coming years Darwin Awards...
  11. Great match... my first 3 gun but definitely not my last. What a blast.
  12. I'll be there... need to try this - looks like lots of fun. Still the 2nd Sunday?
  13. USPSA rules on heavy metal: (iii)b “Heavy Metal” division within the context of a USPSA multi-gun match at this time Will follow the guidelines of the newly formed Heavy Metal division in the USPSA Tournament and Appendix B1 & B2 of the Multigun rules. Handgun: Major Power Factor, Maximum of 9 rounds loaded, Max. of 8 in magazine in the case of Rule 8.1.1.2. Any Single Stack in 45 ACP that meets the SS rules allowed Don't specifically say that hi-caps aren't allowed... but from the remainder of the thread, I'm assuming they are... trying to shoot my first 3 gun match without having to buy a lot of new equipment. Is HM single stack only?
