  1. I went with the CR speed. This was my third holster for the 627 and the one that I have settled on.
  2. Maybe they should have a warning written on the barrel to not dry fire while filling your car with gas.
  3. Tactical Solutions is supposed to be coming out with a Glock .22 upper. Also ones for XD and M&P.
  4. Model 41 with 7" barrel cut down and threaded.
  5. I also found this interview with Tom Hines of Tactical Solutions. Down Range TV link The interesting part was .22 top ends for Glock, XD and M&P. Louis
  6. A google search for "Ed Masaki dragon gun" gives pictures and videos including this blog
  7. 10/22 with Nordic Components AR22 kit. I have been using this for shooting steel Challenge.
  8. I have been using a Pardini SP in bullseye since 2000. I purchased mine from Don Nygord set up in the Nygord master configuration with optics and a grip designed for NRA bullseye rules.
  9. I just got mine Monday. The single stack also sticks out on my standard Springfield Armory frame. Louis
  10. In the comments on Michaels page he identifies it as a Desantis FDO. There is also one like it from Galco called the Holster vault.
  11. The pictures only showed up for me when I used explorer to view the page. No pictures and badly formatted in Firefox.
  12. When I did a google search for packing.org I found some other discussions that stated it had gone permanently offline 8/23/07. The recommended alternative was http://www.handgunlaw.us/
  13. I managed to do the same thing with an aluminum handle during a 3gun match.
  14. Shooting is the correct term for what I do with golf balls. Same for bowling pins.
  15. Here's a link to Garmin's press release about Mac compatibility. I'm not sure how close they are to release.
  16. I voted for more like limited. I figure that if S&W refuses to make replacement barrels available for a lot of their guns then we should let people use aftermarket barrels.
  17. Maybe we all should print it out and send it to S&W. Think they could figure it out? Louis
  18. I had been using the aluminum roller handle and for some reason decided to try the plastic one when I got my second 650. Big mistake. The aluminum roller handle was a big improvement over the ball. The plastic one ended up being a step bacwards. For some reason they decided to design the plastic one with a triangular shaped handle. The edges of the triangle ended up being worse for hurting the hand than the ball. Unfortunately since I had already used it and had had it for more than 30 days, Dillon wouldn't take it back. I most likely will end up taking a dremel to it to round over the points. Louis
  19. 1993 and 2005 XL650s along with a Rockchucker. Louis
  20. I use an SVI .40S&W in limited and a S&W 8 shot .38 super in L10. Louis
  21. It must be a Bay area thing. Mine is always ridiculously late. Louis

I noticed the Rancho Cordova address. The only time my car was broken into was a number of years ago when I had it parked at a hotel in Rancho Cordova. Louis
  23. I have a few comments from my recent flight on United to the RM3G match. I flew with an ICC 49" x 16" x 4.5" .08" thick alluminum with wheels case and a large suitcase for the rest of my stuff. I only took rifle ammo on the way there and no ammo back with me. Flying out of San Jose I was asked how may guns I had in the case. After replying 3 she then asked if it was designed to hold 3. I of course answered yes. After consulting with her co-worker she decided it was OK. No attention was paid to the weight of the bags. On the return flight from Denver, he didn't ask about the gun count but he did have me put the suitcase on the scale by itself. After removing a goretex jacket and another fleece jacket I came in half a pound under the 50lb limit. The two airports had much different way of handling the gun case. When I arrived in Denver an employee brought out the case and checked that I was the owner before turning it over. In San Jose they just dump it into the oversized bin. Fortunately I knew where it was coming out, so I was there to pick it up immediately. Louis
  24. Todd, have you seen all the variations they are putting on already? One of them they put on the list last year they made so few of, I had trouble finding one. Sounds to me like Dan is just BSing. Louis
