This forum is focused on competitive shooting, now collecting. That said, your P226, while a great gun, is nothing special. They are plentiful and not really a collector, especially one that's already been shot. I'd probably give you $600 tops if it's all original, but you said it has replacement grips and sights, to that drives the value way down to probably $400 or so. OBTW, W. German Sigs had proof marks, so nothing special about that. You are going to be disappointed that your gun isn't as valuable as you think or where hoping it to be. Just shoot it and enjoy a truly classic gun.

Does anyone know if an HK USP Expert with the LEM trigger and its bobbed hammer will fit in the IDPA box with the jet funnel magwell removed? Intention is for use in SSP.

In what ways is it better? Is it $3000 better?

Thanks for your feedback. Does Brazos make an IDPA compliant gun? What is the issues with the DS9 that you prefer the Prodigy?

Was wondering if the Atlas Athena/Artemis is worth the price difference over the MPA DS9 Hybrid series? Unfortunately, IDPA is the prevailing game around my area, so I'd need it to be IDPA compliant for ESP and CO. Money isn't an issue, but if the MPA is as good, or almost as good as the Atlas, there is no reason to throw an extra few thousand away, IMO. Anyone with experience with either brand, please let me know your thoughts.

Unfortunately, IDPA is the only game near me. I would like to get an Atlas Athena to run in ESP and CO, but I don't know if the gun is legal for IDPA.
