outerlimits
after cleaning 3 guns last nite before the treck to vegas, went out to the garage this morning and was swept away by the sweet smell of Hoppes #9. i'm thinkin' a new men's after shave with this smell would sell like hotcakes. L-10_shooter
I love walking into my gun room after cleaning a couple guns. That smell rivals nitromethane powered vehicles. My girl doesnt know wheather she likes it or not, women......

MichiganShootist
Hoppes and Tink's #69 deer scent. They always make me think of my Grandpa. Tyro Shooter
many years a go, Dad took me to our cousins house to go shooting out in Nevada, it was there I learned about shooting and then cleaning of the guns I got to shoot, Colt navy cap & ball, Whitney wolverine, Sharps 50-70 carbine and some kind of weird “French” target pistol that top loaded 9mm from a stripper clip in to the fixed grip mag. the stinging smell of Black powder a brick or two of 22’s Then the cleaning began . . . A lot of Hoppe’s #9 and patches hot soapy water and oil His quote “Nothing in the world smells like Hoppe's” still is true today. I now buy it in the party size gallon drums.
