July Win-A-Book question

I had a couple I that are great but a search pulled them up right away. This one apparently flies under that radar...

"Someone once said that a task left undone creates a void that no amount of achievement can fill."

It appealed to me instantly. It's profoundly relevant to what we do, especially in terms of goal-setting and process-oriented training/improvement, don't you think?

Warning -- This one is tough (I hope). I tried several searches for it in the usual places and couldn't find it.

Cite the movie or book, the character, and year of release/publication.

Happy hunting!

2 good guesses, but neither is correct.

**Remember -- Cite the movie or book, the character, and year of release/publication.

Does the movie and the book have the same name?
