And my wife is down with it... in fact, she wants to go to San Diego for the week and let me go to Vegas for the 4 nights. BITCHIN!!!!! Anybody wanna squad? With the exception of a cold weather steel match a month ago, I have not shot any rounds since last year's Open Nats. I hate our long winter - if I didn't ski I darn sure would not live here. matt2ace Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Glyn, Check out the USPSA page.....looks like 18 stages shot over 4 days. 5 Stages the first 3 days, 3 stages on the last day. I would estimate close to 400 rounds. This will be my first Nationals so maybe a dumb question, could someone tell me how many stages there will be and appropximate number of rounds? After last year I can't imagine NOT trying to go...even with the weather we had it was still a great experience, great match and one little brain fade kept me from winning my class. If you want to stay at a cheap hotel, check out Fiesta Henderson - although it's pretty far from Desert Sportsman. The closest hotel to Desert Sportsman is Red Rock Casino.
