Micah
I was on the fence (lack of Picard) until watching the trailer. Looks groovy

Nik Habicht
(lack of Picard) That's a good thing, no? On the other hand --- the absence of Data, especially in a movie that features Spock? That's a crying shame in the humor department....
Duane Thomas
I have always felt the Star Trek franchise took a serious wrong turn at Next Generation and never recovered. The heroic, macho Captain, balanced by the super-genius, emotionally repressed Vulcan First Officer and compassionate ship's doctor, the brightly colored, greenish/gold, blue and red uniforms, the Enterprise with glowing balls on the front of the warp engine modules, that's what Star Trek should be. It was inevitable that eventually we'd see other actors than Shatner, Nimoy and Kelley in the roles of Kirk, Spock and McCoy. I just hope they can remain true to the spirit of the original. carinab
Sylar as spock...that's pretty cool. Zachary Quinto had a bit of shaving to do on those eye brows I'm sure.

Maybe this new crew can hang with the original group, if they went to the Shatner School of (Over)acting. So -- in the new one, does Kirk score with the green chick? JFlowers
I wonder how much of the Enterprise saga is considered canon for this movie? The scene where they are building the ship on the ground rather than in spacedock makes you wonder.
Dan Hefta
I think I saw Kirk with a green babe in the trailer. This movie is gonna be a good one!!
