  1. Eric, I really like it. Can't wait to start testing loads with it.
  2. A big THANK YOU for all the match staff, organizers, and sponsors of the Texas Open. Squad 13 was a lot of fun. We really had a good time.
  3. Don, Yes, Usually the most expensive besides Pow Wow in April.
  4. Just wanted to share an experience of great customer service with Warne Scope Mounts. I actually managed to strip out the quick throw lever on the scope mount for my AR after many years of use. I contacted Warne today to see if I could purchase a replacement for this and they informed me of their warranty. Justin at Warne asked about the mount and said he was shipping me a free replacement out today. I offered to pay shipping, Justin declined and thanked me for using their products. This is great customer service and standing behind the product. Thanks for reading. I hope this helps someone out in the future when looking for a scope mount.
  5. Thanks to all the staff for doing what they do to make this match possible ! As we all know it is a lot of hard work.
  6. Just home from the 8 hour drive. I have so many compliments for this match. The stages had a great mix of shooting skillset, and many had a variety of ways to solve them. The match staff was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The match ran like a well oiled machine. The 6 berm 12 stage idea and design worked extremely well. The range food was awesome. The range facility was excellent, and had enough parking. Mother nature played havoc on the stages and some of the shooters, but the match staff was on top of it and bounced right back without missing a beat. All of squad 11 had a fun time, we cut up and laughed a lot. Any of the other squads that we bumped into seemed to be having just as much fun. I talked to a lot of shooters and did not hear any complaints. The whole mood of everyone at the match was very upbeat, competitors and staff. The prize table was a random drawing and very generous. As much as there was, it took a lot of money from the match and a lot of hard work to gather that much stuff. The whole group had fun at the prize / awards time. Lots of laughs and applause. If you can make the Mile High next year, then do it. you will be pleased.
  7. Shot this at Space City in April, limited division, 13.16, 105 pts , 7.9787 hf somewhere around 85 % Sloppy on the points ( wasn't using sights for sure). Hope this helps on next update.
  8. Yeah Ace it looked really smooth. mine was a 9.0764 for around 97% I think it was 6.28 down 2 or 3
  9. A great big THANKS ! to all the match staff, and sponsors of the match. It is greatly appreciated. I truly know it is a lot of hard work and dedication to put on a match. Without all of these people that made it happen, we would not have events like this. If I did win a raffle gun then no one told me, lol. I think the last name of the person called was Stanford. Bit it was my grandson, Alexander from League City, TX that was drawing the names from the bucket for the gun raffles.
  10. Thanks Mike, you definitely Have, Doulbletap 2006, we had a lot of fun.
  11. What a great run match ! The weather was good, seeing a lot of friends from all over is always a benefit and a good time to be had. The stages were very challenging Look forward to it next year

  15. Cha-Lee, I was up on the next squad, and I may have seen a different bullet impact. But the round struck the back corner of the container about 3 inches above the ground, which was well beyond the 10 feet rule. I agree the targets where well beyond 10 feet. D
  16. Stages look great ! The staff has done a great job again ! Game on tomorrow, hammer down around 8:00 hopefully.
