pskys2
There may be Yeti hanging about as well. Are Yeti in season, right now?? Viewing season? Hunting season? Breeding season? Yes, they're exhibitionists. No, they only hunt humans in the winter. Yes, see the viewing season. You have to look on top of the tallest rock as they're likely working on their tan. HI5-O
Not worried about Yeti's......but.....what about TICKS
bgary
Not worried about Yeti's......but.....what about TICKS Most of the bays are nicely mowed grass, it would be pretty hard (not impossible, but hard) to pick up ticks. Of course, if you go wandering around in the brush alongside the road, all bets are all...
kimel
Don't go telling him that stuff Bruce! You need to say things like "ticks there are about quarter-sized" and "I lost a good steer once because five ticks got on him and I didn't catch them before they had him drained". At least Missoula doesn't have chiggers!

BDH
Deb and I head out at 7:05 AM tomorrow and are spending some time up in Glacier National Park and Waterton Provincial Park. Kind of bummed out that it looks like the Going to the Sun Highway will still be closed though... See ya all on the range!! Safe travels... XRe
Any chrono access prior to the match? Yes, but you need oxygen, crampons, and a team of sherpas to get there... And some yeti repellent...
Jman
Spent the day in Yellowstone. Incredible. Will be rolling into Missoula Tuesday. The weather forecast looks very good. However, I'm freezing. Jim
kimel
For those travelling East in I-90... There is considerable construction on both sides of the ID/MT border. Allow probably an extra 30 - 45 minutes travel time if you are trying to make it here by a specific time. Lots of sections where speed drops to 35 and 45 MPH. The match hotel is still under construction (oh joy) but most amenities are available and the construction isn't all that disruptive. See ya here!
