Cltpewpew
For those that moved from Titegroup to either n320 or sport pistol what if any powder charge change did you have? I have 147 gr coated bullets. At 3.1 gr Titegroup I get about 132 pf.
BJB
You'll likely need to up it a couple tenths to get the same velocity.
Cltpewpew
That’s what it seems for and sp and n320 should be same charge.
LHshooter
I too am a recent convert from TG to N320. In my G17 3.1 gr TG gives me 131 PF for 147 gr coated In my G34 3.1 gives me 132.5 In my DS9 3.1 gives me 130 I haven't loaded 147 with N320 but I need 4.1 gr to get 133 PF with 124 gr coated. I would think 3.1 or a tad higher will give the same PF for

GrumpyOne
Try 3.5 of N320 with a 147 coated. That is my load through a Shadow 1. 131-134 PF

ysrracer
I'm a big fan of Sport Pistol, but it's hard to find these days.
MikeyScuba
I would add W231 to this list. Easy to find.

togmaster
Why switch from Titegroup if it works? Price has gone up but not as much as some and it is readily available.

I was/am a long time Titegroup user but it is known as a dirty powder. I think that's why a lot of people don't like it. I recently bought 4 lb of N320 and will use that before deciding whether to switch back.
MikeyScuba
In my case with low loads, heavy bullet (2.9, 165gr) of N320 in a revolver it is a lot dirtier than an equivalent load of W231
4n2t0
Great, more Titegroup for me, lol. Accurate, versatile, cheap, and available.

Seems like it sticks in the pitting of the metal. N320 and Sport Pistol you only need to wipe it off to get it out of my guns.

I load Titegroup for competition, 9mm minor 130ish pf and never found it to be very dirty.
IVC
3.2 gr is the default magic number for N320 and 147s. From there you dial up or down in 0.1 gr increments if you have to.
