A reputation for good customer service is also very important. Similar to the above post I had an RMR and an SRO break on me. Both were repaired in about a week and returned without any hassle.

I never tried to replace the spring on the factory guide rod. They are not designed to be replaced. I switched to a CGW stainless guide rod and spring set but later decided on a W74 tungsten guide rod and 14# spring that I bought from Stonebridge. https://stonebridgegunworks.com/w74-tungsten-guide-rod-kit-czp-10f.html The W74 set up adds additional weight to the front of the gun which I like better.
