I usually like snow. I just hope the 6-10 inches that is supposed to fall in the Boston area tonight/tomorrow does not prevent me from landing there in the morning. It has been nice here in southern CA but now, its back to reality. :o

Down here, snow isn't so much a weather event as it is a social event. What you have on your deck would cripple 3 counties around here! Getting a 1" accumulation is that special time of year when you call your boss and say, "I can't drive in this stuff!", and then go play in your car all day.

A few years ago, the neighbors and we waited impatiently (for like, 2 days!) for some predicted snowfall. As soon as it started we jumped into their outdoor hot tub and enjoyed some adult beverages while watching the beauty (we're easily amused, I know....).

I was told it didn't snow here!!!!!!! I drove home in that sh*t thinking the whole time.... WHY DID I COME HERE????? I still can't get over that there's no freakin' matches in the winter! So now I'm looking forward to a s*ck*ss cold winter, no sun, lotsa snow and no freakin' shooting.

AUGH!

3QT,

Better to have snow than the nasty mist and snow showers they are experiencing at my future duty station. Yuck!

Go here for some really depressing news.

On the flip side, this site is pretty cool. You can change it to your location.

Last time I was in Seoul it was the middle of winter. The snow topped mountains around the city were really pretty, but maaaaaaaan was it cold!!!

Not too cold thou to close down one of my favorite things about the city, The Soju Tents!!!

:D:PB)

I have to go with hate at this point in my life. Since I tore up my knee in 1995 I no longer ski. To me nowadays snow is nothing more than a serious road hazzard. If you could promise me that snow wouldn't fall on the road ways I would go with like.
