I just hope the 6-10 inches that is supposed to fall in the Boston area tonight/tomorrow does not prevent me from landing there in the morning. Getting a 1" accumulation is that special time of year when you call your boss and say, "I can't drive in this stuff!", and then go play in your car all day. A few years ago, the neighbors and we waited impatiently (for like, 2 days!) for some predicted snowfall. As soon as it started we jumped into their outdoor hot tub and enjoyed some adult beverages while watching the beauty (we're easily amused, I know....). I still can't get over that there's no freakin' matches in the winter! So now I'm looking forward to a s*ck*ss cold winter, no sun, lotsa snow and no freakin' shooting. AUGH! The snow topped mountains around the city were really pretty, but maaaaaaaan was it cold!!! Not too cold thou to close down one of my favorite things about the city, The Soju Tents!!! To me nowadays snow is nothing more than a serious road hazzard. If you could promise me that snow wouldn't fall on the road ways I would go with like.
