Barrel Selection For A Limited Gun

Recommended Posts

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a 2011 frame from Chuck at shooters connection. When I get around to it I will send it off to Virgil Tripp to build as a limited gun. I was wondering of those of you who have built a limited gun on a 2011 frame which bull barrel do you pick.

Barsto!!!!

I had two other barrels and was very disapaointed. had four Barsto and have friends totaling eaght barsto and ALL are very good barrels

Worth the wait, I waited two month on the one on my race gun, it has over 15,000 and it will group under 1.25 at 35 yards if I rest my wrist on the bags.

And Barsto helps at Steel Challenge and other matches, and I like Irv.

I have a Nowlin in one gun with over 10K rounds still great.

I have a BarSto in another with about 3k rounds and still great--but it was fitted by Irv for C&S.

I now have a Kart--with 500 rounds and looks real good.

A buddy has a Schumann--and it shooting great after 20K.

Hmmmm. Good quality from all so far. Pick one and just go for it.

I've had Nowlin, Bar-Sto and Briley barrels in a number of guns. I couldn't tell the difference...they ALL shot better than I could.

Buy a decent brand name barrel and have it fit by someone that knows what they're doing. That's the key !
