SP-01 Shadow with SRO Question

I just picked up an SP-01 Shadow Custom from CZC and had them install the custom RDS plate for the SRO.

The screws that come with the SRO are too long.  Anyone know the correct size screws to get, and where to get them?

I'd prefer black screws with an Allen or Torx screw head.

Thanks!

This might help with screw size.............

 Ive used these screws before https://www.battlewerx.com/trijicon-rmr-mounting-screws-for-glock-mos-slides-6-32-x-385-torx-pair/

Trimming the screws that came with your sro is probably your best bet though since you can get them exactly where they need to be. I believe CZC recommends this route

Thanks, I had already found the BattleWerks website and ordered their screws.  I also went to Lowe's to see if they had any screws that would work. Here is what I found using a micrometer, hopefully this helps someone else in the future:

.495" = SRO stock screws (too long)

.369" = Lowe's Machine Screws #6-32 x 3/8" (too short)

.381" = BattleWerks Trijicon RMR for Glock MOS 6-32 x .385" (too short)

.424" = JagerWerks Trijicon RMR/SRO - #6-32 x 7/16" IP15 (just right)

That's nowhere near enough thread engagement with the slide.  Good luck.

Good luck? OK Mister condescending...

Please tell us how "that's nowhere near enough thread engagement with the slide" when the SRO thread doesn't screw into the slide, it screws into the plate. The RDS plate has separate screws for the slide. The SRO screws I am using are just touching the slide, having enough thread to go all the way through the plate.

Did the glock mos screws from BattleWerks work when mounting your SRO to the plate or did you have to get longer screws
