  1. Thanks for the info. Are the pd thin grips thicker than cz factory shadow 2 grips?
  2. Anyone here tried the patriot defense thin grips? Ive tried the lok palm swells and thought they were a little wide for my liking. Currently running the henning grips but looking for something a little wider but not as wide as the lok palm swells
  3. Legally yes, but cgw changed their policy and requires you to send to and from a FFL
  4. Acceptable sight picture at different distances as well. For most practical shooting purposes, dont need the dot to be still but the dot can tell you a lot in respect to grip
  5. Aimpoint acro p2 seems to be good for duty use. Impossible to find in stock at the moment though
  6. Yes it's visible but shooting target focused with a red dot i dont even notice the front sight. If it really bothers you, try a black fiber optic I don't think there's a plug available for the front sight to hold the barrel bushing in place if you remove the front sight
  7. You are correct. However cgw requires the gun be shipped from a FFL and sends it back. New policy they implemented as i didnt have to do that previously. Although not charged for background check, many FFLs will charge you for the 2 day shipping, which wasnt cheap
  8. I sent mine and they did a great job. (2.25 lb SA and 4.8lb DA) Deciding factor was i wanted to get rid of the terrible urban Grey finish and slide milled for optics. Figured since it's already there, might as well get the trigger job. One thing to factor into the cost is it must be shipped there and back to a FFL, which can add some money as well
  9. Orange is nice, but for uspsa the bushing doesn't make that big of a difference. Optics ready is nice so you can switch optics if needed or run the gun in production. Can't go wrong either way but id probably go optics ready and get an optic then you'd be close to the cost of a s2o
  10. Where can you find the discount code?
  11. I used to shoot glocks before I got into CZs and got used to having a flat surface for my thumbs to rest on. OEM slide stop gets in the way for me. As another member posted, sometimes the thumbs can accidentally push the slide release up as well.
  12. Much appreciated! Thank you!
  13. Did you need to modify it at all?
  14. Does anyone know of any retailers that have the shadow 2 thin slide stop in stock? I've checked Ben stoeger pro shop, cz custom, and cgw... All out of stock.
  15. Ive used these screws before https://www.battlewerx.com/trijicon-rmr-mounting-screws-for-glock-mos-slides-6-32-x-385-torx-pair/ Trimming the screws that came with your sro is probably your best bet though since you can get them exactly where they need to be. I believe CZC recommends this route
  16. Yea this is not a knock on cz custom as lots of people have had great success with the rds plates and its an awesome concept. I'm running the steel plates now. Hopefully better luck with these but am still looking to go direct mill for another gun
  17. Sp01 shadow with czc rds plate system
  18. Thanks for your input. Yea I've tried different screws, torque wrench, loctite, etc. It'll be good for about 1000 rounds then have issues. Some of the aluminum plates have stripped as well previously. Haven't had issues with glocks or milled guns so I'm looking at options for direct milled on this s2
  19. I read somewhere on slides cracking, maybe they were outliers. I'm assuming that might be due to slides being lightened to meet the old CO weight limit but was curious Also wondering how secure the cuts are for the sro. I had some issues on another gun going the plate route with the optic coming loose so I was hoping to see feedback from long term users going the milled route. Might be personal preference, but any preference over Cajun VS fire4effect rdoms if anyone's tried both?
