BritinUSA
As things stand at the moment we need to get some photos of Adam shooting at WSXIV to more positively identify the model of gun that he shot and determine from the arb. committee what gun they examined. Then we can take matters from there. If the gun that he shot at the match is the same one that the committe examined and found no problem with, then the matter is closed. Any other eventuality is a serious problem. I think Julie has already indicated that she saw him with a SP-01.

Patrick Sweeney
Back from the awards ceremony with loads of photos. Strange, finishing an awards before mindmight. (they finished right after 10:30) I didn't realize why until I was back: No stage medals. That's right, nothing for the stage winners. Adam Tyc got a round of boos both times he went to the podium. Bad manners, sportsfans.

Jeeper
Adam Tyc got a round of boos both times he went to the podium. Bad manners, sportsfans. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who would boo? That is really poor sportsmanship.
George
If it was only the USA contingent boo'ing, not so good. If it was a non-partisan thing and the world at large contingent was doing the boo'ing, you have got to wonder what is going on?
Euroshooter
C'mon guys! A couple of Czech decathletes had their blood changed or something like that (thinning?) in the last world championships. Changing a gun (if there was any change at all?) would be much more natural
Jasonub
Here is my post at ipsc village. the alledged small cutting of the triggerguard will not be a factor for Tyc winning. ITs the shooter not the triggerguard. but we have rules and rules should not be broken. If one shoots standard then abide by the rules, PD then follow it, revolver then dont shoot a mag fed pistol. If one does not follow the rules change divisions or change to another sport. We all follow rules why dont champions do the same so that they will earn our respect. In war i agree there are no rules as long as your alive and the other party is not, do what it takes. but in any sport we should follow the rules
kraut
Remembering a L3 match in CZ: 1 competitor in PD shooting a SD gun in minor, another starting condition 1 with his CZ75 (Yes I know the rulebook does not know "condition 1,2,3,4,5... but anybody else does) So, I do not wonder! Patrick Sweeney
Its just before 6AM Monday. I'm in the hotel restuarant, in the wood-burning wi-fi system. There stall aren't any results posted for the shoot. Yup, nothing but stage verification files on the WSXIV web page. I'm officially pissed now. Euroshooter
I'm officially pissed now When in the future they are arranging WS in places like Baghdad and Niger you are going to be very pissed of. Maybe there is once a little chance people are shooting in countries which have televisions and toilets with running water. Then you could get the results on time? Jim Norman
All in favor of a USPSA-rules World Championships to be held in America, the land of plentiful ammo, say "aye"... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am in! Eric, get the venue and I will come. But is has to be USPSA rules. No IPSC. I'd even go so far as to say have a Production Only match. Should be no problem for the stats guys: just pull out the equipment sheets, checked (gun make + model, may be Serial Nr., at least competitors travelling from abroad passing border police or customs should not have "twins" with them) on every single stage including chrono and initial equipment check and thats it. Even I would notice the difference between a cz85 and sp01. At least I learned for further matches: serious equipment checks, not just sign it, especially for the super suads! kraut

Carlos
What about the threatened European boycott of the results on account of their ammo not showing up? Did it ever materialize? Also, there were reports of many shooters using 2 or 3 different types of ammo due to shortages and also the claim that "there is no way some of this stuff meets major" - which begs the question: -was EVERY type of ammo chronoed? If not, then there is a huge problem. Moreover, if a shooter had a jammed because they had to borrow ammo (through no fault of their own) then they really should have gotten a re-shoot, which calls the stage results into question. Overall, seems like this was a rather troubled match as far as ammo goes. Still no overall results.

Chuck Anderson
It was not just boos for Adam. I was sitting next to the Checz section at the awards. As Dave went up, most of them started to boo at Dave. When Adam went up I clapped. He shot a good match. I know for a fact that whether he used an open gun or a production gun he is still an excellent shooter and wothy of respect as a shooter. As a person, I hope he grows up before Bali. I will say that he did shake hands at the Awards. I guess he got a little talking to after the shootoffs.

Alberto Hart
May anyone tell me why, there is no comment about how the top ten shooters per division, ended?. Did the IPSC ask the 1,000 spectators at the awards ceremony, to keep their mouth shut?. Anyone at that ceremony, may at least say what happened there?.
