European championship Ipsik is done and the czech start delivering the gun.
  3. http://ipsc.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=20133 Funny guys!
  4. Never noticed this on the 1.1-4 and 1.5-6 FD´s but severely noticed this at the show sample. Afaik it was a prototype, available in the states end of year. @all: What do You guys think on the Kruger "1 or 2x8" square prototype? Not personally feeling the need for anything above 4x but nice to have. Kraut
  5. Charlie, as feared yesterday: the boss wants to go to Omelett House and Walmart, so we will not make it. May be next time and thanks for organizing a match close to SHOT. Kraut
  6. Thats fine, I´m waiting for ANY experiences, thanks. What I saw at IWA in March looked more like a prototype and that´s what I have been told. So probably more to see in Vegas. I plan to replace a Docter2 that´s low mounted on a G26 slide with something w/o batteries and wires.
  7. Still nobody with own experience with Trijicon RM03 or 05? Thanks.
  8. Seems the finish guys kicked a$$es this time? Shit happens. Remember one CRO on a HG match here who painted all poppers completely after every bloody hit, till QM kicked his ass after 1/4 of match there was no more spray paint left
  9. Folks, anybody with experience of Trijicon RM03 on handgun? Bright enough for competition? Thanks! Kraut
  10. Nice movie! Funny where the bipod seems to be at 7:15 - 7:28 Costed extra 10? Or just looks so on video?
  11. Guys, does anybody know where to get a dot mount or any style rail (=11mm or Weaver/Picatinny) fitting direct to the receiver of Winchester SX3 and Browning Phoenix series shotgun? Top of receiver has 4 nice lugs but neither Browning nor Winchester nor EAW and MAK here in Germany could help. Did not find anything in the forum nor on the net. And I know the magazine is too short for IPSC, want a hunting SG. Thanks. Kraut
  12. My very congratulations to the guys at CZUB! I wonder how the CZ85 improved within 20 years an it still call itself just plain "CZ85", really great and really sportsmanlike. I will reconsider the whole story b4 buying guns or ammo next time. kraut
  13. Oh, it was just a club match down there, competing for who pays the beer after match? ROTFL kraut
  14. Should be no problem for the stats guys: just pull out the equipment sheets, checked (gun make + model, may be Serial Nr., at least competitors travelling from abroad passing border police or customs should not have "twins" with them) on every single stage including chrono and initial equipment check and thats it. Even I would notice the difference between a cz85 and sp01. At least I learned for further matches: serious equipment checks, not just sign it, especially for the super suads! kraut
  15. Remembering a L3 match in CZ: 1 competitor in PD shooting a SD gun in minor, another starting condition 1 with his CZ75 (Yes I know the rulebook does not know "condition 1,2,3,4,5... but anybody else does) So, I do not wonder! Kraut
  16. Vince´s statement on global village: http://ipsc.invisionzone.com/index.php?act...st=0#entry19062
  17. +1! My opinion on his teammates reaction: When I´ve been in the states first time I wondered how correct and polite everybody was. "Get what You pay for" - no cheating at all. People have different manners pending on the place they live or grew up. Imo the problems in PD became serious when competitors where permitted to use guns that where only available to selected/sponsored shooters while not a single sample has had been delivered to distributors. Kraut
  18. For me it is. I see no need for another game like IPSC/USPSA/Bianchi/Second Chance/CAS or whatever, there is enough already here.
  19. Think a shoot - thru is something to avoid in real world scenario. One reason why everbody wants hollow points or similar bullet design in LE/civilian(and even some military?) carry gun IS to avoid shoot thru endangering innocent bystander/comrade/hostage. More realistic is a NT behind the target that forces shooter to change position to avoid shoot thru in any case.
  20. Sure it makes sense not to loose visual contact on Your opponent during Your relaod. But for the price of offering yourself as target? In real life I would prefer to take all cover available during reload. And that´s what IPDPA want´s to train/practice for.
