  1. Hi: Did you make it with a smith, or it is something offered by Safariland?. Thanks Alberto from Argentina
  2. The gun is approved by IPSC, if that´s your point. The gun Gastón used at the USPSA nationals, was the shorty one (Bersa Thunder Pro, 4 inches barrel), as it is not USPSA approved gun, yet. What I mean is that gun is still being developed, and it´s final version is not even close to be ready. In two weeks you will realize if the Bersa XT is good or not
  3. I see your sarcasm. But how did you finish at the USPSA Nationals? He came in 10th. Isn´t him pro enough to end in that position with an experimental pistol?
  4. The Bersa Thunder XT is an outstanding pistol, designed and tested by a pro shooter. Even when it is in a beta version, it will sonn have updates, until it becomes the best on the market. It´s five inches barrel, combined with the LPA rear sight, thumb rest serrations, a very comfortable ergonomic grip, and a very affordable price, makes it a good choice for exigent shooters.
  5. Does anyone know if Ernie Hill speed leather stills making their stuff?. I want to buy few belts for personal use, but couldn´t find anything on the web. Will much appreciate if a link is given. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi guys: A friend of mine and I are planning to attend the 2009 Florida State Match, next May. As flying with guns is becoming a hard task, I thought about renting a Glock pistol. Does anyone know if around the match area, if there´s anyone available to rent it?. (I would go from here with the holster, mag pouches and belt). Thanks in advance. Alberto Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  7. My experience shooting major PF loads, is that the inner parts of the lower receiver become full of dirt...and that´s it.
  8. I have a 6450 Colt with a 16" barrel, too. And I got minor PF with Magtech 147 grains FMJ, marked "subsonic".
  9. Hi guys: I want to build an AR15 with a 308 x 1½" caliber conversion to shoot major PF. Does anyone know where can I buy a .458 SOCOM or a .450 Bushmaster bolt assembly?. For those who doesn´t know the caliber, this is it: The 7.62 x 39 doesn´t work, as it has a smaller brass base diameter. This one is a regular .308 brass, shortened to fit in a normal .223 magazine. Every help is highly appreciated. Alberto Hart
  10. Did you ever be at the stats office?. 900 shooters, shooting 36 stages, means a total of 32,400 score sheets. Ok, they could be loading day by day stages, but the last day they had 900 shooters that shot 6 stages = 5,400 score sheets to load. It is almost imposible to end just in time to place the podium after the last shot.
  11. David: We only made 600 units of the Argentine Fara. I own one, and none of them were exported to Ecuador. The last few remaining are in collector´s hands, down here in Argenitna.
  12. I´m a gun exporter, and most of my customers are in the US. All I deal with, are antique and collectible firearms. My experience with the BATF is not so nice, and always have something to come up with. Since 9/11...my business with the US became a nightmare. On April 26th. 2004 I sent 11 Winchester trappers 1892 model, and they are still at the ATF curator. Perhaps they are nice people with inner customers. It is not my situation. I would like to see the customs and ATF people´s faces when an argentine shooter named Houmad Safwan arrives having two Glocks with him.
  13. Do you realize the nightmare that it may result with 1,000 shooters from around the world trying to get into the US at once, carrying at least 2,000 guns, at the same airport?. If several shooters had problems by trying to take some ammo to Guayaquil...doing the same in the us would be an imposible mission.
  14. This is the picture of a gun similar to the one used by Adam T. (thanks to Paul Hyland).
