reverse_edge
Remove the mag release and bend the spring in a little. Don't go too much, as you want your mags to stay in the gun... Might as well polish the mag catch and the channel while you've got it apart.

philippshen
use a vice to bend spring, you can go just a little bit at time
Boxer4u
I believe CZ Custom also offers a different spring to help with mags not dropping freely. You may may want to check with them to see if this will help with your inquiry.
Doc1
I am clueless about internal mechanisms of a gun. Would cutting the spring help

Russty
I had the same issue on my SP01 Tactical. I worked the release literally a thousand + times attempting to soften it. But, in the end, I simply jammed a flathead screwdriver between the frame and the top of the spring by the hold screw and tweaked it, just a bit. Didn't have to remove anything, just the slide to get access.
Hansb57
I bent the spring and looked sooooo surpised when my magazines dropped an inch during competition. And I didnt go overboard wirh bending.

inertia
Buy the cz custom one with the extra bend, you can then tune it a bit and kill 2 birds.
obsessiveshooter
I have filed on mag release springs and it worked great. Less diameter= less resistance, but it still occupies the same space and it's original shape. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
