BigBamBoo
So...being the weekend and such. I thought you all could use a bit of comedy in your life. So picture this....it is a sweltering 100+ degrees. You have been taking your turn RO'ing ...so little rest between "working" and shooting. Your nice and sweaty. And then it is your turn to shoot the first stage: Well, thankfully my "camera man" did not capture this stage...BEEEEEPPPP....I engage two targets. One with my left shoulder. As I transition back to my right side I hit the LARGE mag release button and notice...in slow motion of coarse....my magazine tumble into the dirt ahead of me. Great start. Now the fun continues and capture in glorious, living color for all time. I start out ok. Then...oh yeah...you need to see the dot...and aim....at the same time! Last stage. Again...a good start....I get my largeness up to speed. Grab the carbine. Fumble a bit with the mag, but get going. And then...well....you can see for yourself.... HAPPY WEEKEND!!! Link to comment
HoMiE
The struggle is real sometimes. Definitely a challenge staying with it in the heat. Nice shooting with with you today. Link to comment

I was going to head up to Medford today and shoot the match, but have work that needs attention. Link to comment

edyan
I did the same thing transitioning to weak side...took the big button off & left the extended release button...works just as fast. Link to comment

Yes, at my age (and with my eyes) I know I will never be a top competitor. So for me it is all about having fun. And for the most part, I rarely have a bad time when I am out shooting. 16 hours ago, SJMPCC022 said: The Ruger was outperformed by the hankey hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I kinda hint that 2 Alpha will be the order of the day if my fellow shooters make me look good on film. For those with little sense of humor...I kid, I kid. .
