Also notice the points earned and points penalized. (Omitted results included many miss penalties but ong45 was the king!) Names have been changed to forum member names to protect the innocent. I didn't see much at all of my front sight; I was just looking "through" the gun at the targets 10 feet away. It appears Joel did see his front sight. That was one crazy-ass stage and Hell, I Was There. Edited July 26, 2005 by Erik Warren

Pierruiggi
A draw and 20 rounds in less than 5 seconds. And in jnshapiro's case, all that plus a reload. Good shooting!
zhunter
Holy Crap, that's fast....and accurate!!! Great Job
outerlimits
a silly stage to be sure...real balanced. required movement af maybe 12' to be able to engage 1 target that was hidden...otherwise, what eric said...i don't even remember turning on the cmore. ong45 set the pace so it was all about time, not hits...(oh yea, and trigger freeze)... dirtypool40
I ran a "crambo" or NORCO style course here and you'd have thought they were going to burn me at the stake. Once they shot it you'd have thought I passed out orgasm pills. We did 28 rounds and about 15 yards total movement. A couple of barrels to make you move to the end. Times ran 7-8 seconds and down damned few if you wanted to win. That is fun.
Flexmoney
We had a stage at a Previous OH Buckeye Blast (2003?) that had a hit factor around 20. It was 9 paper, in 3 arrays. Ports and walls. There were a few different ways to shoot it and still come out on top. I think there might be a picture of it around here someplace...showing BJ shooting it in Production (kinda muddy looking). ong45
If you told me at the beginning of the stage i would have 3 misses and craapppy hits on open targets 4 yards away, i woulda said something nasty
ErikW
People bitch about it and criticize it beforehand, but in the end you need the accuracy with the speed, and everybody leaves the stage smiling. Maybe something like this is needed for the forum match?

tightloop
You just don;t want to come to Texas because you'll realize we have the best of everything, shooting, women, weather, all of it.... Nolan
People bitch about it and criticize it beforehand, but in the end you need the accuracy with the speed, and everybody leaves the stage smiling.Maybe something like this is needed for the forum match? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still get a lot of complaints about the hoser videos I post on my website. "What's the challenge of a stage like that?" "Anybody can yank the trigger like that!" "That looks boring!" etc.... Yeah so come to the match and do it! Then they'll complain that smiling that much makes their faces hurt! I'm sorry I missed the Ione match, it sounded like my kind of stage. So far the best I've done is a 30 round stage in 7+ seconds. 7.8 seconds TASC had a 18 round stage this weekend that I managed to shoot with a limited gun in 5.29 seconds with maybe 4 foot of movement required. I'll try to post a video of it when I get a chance. Sucky 1.2 sec draw Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.

Flexmoney
I found the picture of BJ on the 18hf stage we had at the 2003 Ohio Buckeye Blast: You started in the box on the left (which was a shooting area). This stage actually tested draw speed (something that is often lacking in stage design it seems). There were 3 targets in the center port (you can see T6). T7-T9 where around the right wall, where BJ is shooting. Simple. I was suprised by the different ways that it was shoot. If I recall, 3 top shooters shoot it 3 different ways (it always comes down to execution;) .

XRe
The Coleman match had a couple of 200 point hose fests this past year. They're a lot of fun. Not the *only* thing I'd like to shoot - but a lot of fun, nonetheless!!
