Check 1.1.2.A and 1.1.1.2.Shttp://members.idpa.com/Content/Rules/a3nozfcz.rcs.pdf
TobyJ
Based on the last CO rule about classification, does that mean that they will not have CO classifications for a while (makes sense, as they get a body of scores)? er I shot an 'outlaw' IDPA matched last night with my G34 / rmr and it was pretty cool. Might be something I want to do more of. Toby
USMC56
Can I shoot my 1911 in the carry optics division? I can't get a straight answer anywhere I go.

USPSA, do whatever you want to the slide. No 80% lowers permitted: Firearm manufacturer must be on the Production list. (So no 1911 or other single action firearms either.) IDPA permits milled slides. Do not know about 80% frames.

But, as long as it is a division to be shot, why worry if others will like it. Shoot what you prefer to shoot. You will always have the "cool kids" that think any new (provisional) division is for some lesser person. I really like the way you think, and think you give good advice. When you're out shooting your guns, remember you could be working!!!
