Yup its my favorite major powder so far.

115gr

Oal 1.140

9.7gr aa7

Winchester brass and fmj bullet.

Also seems to work fine with coated bullets my oal is about .050 shorter tho and the charge is just reduced a tad.

AA7 9.7  124 pd 1.160.  175pf. Kkm barrel 3 pooples.

I went out and tried some loads using Accurate #7. I like it a lot, it is more flatter and  softer compared to the current powder HS6 I am using. I get a power factor of 172 at 9.5 grains. I think this will be my new favorite load. Thank you.

Your welcome. I’m new to open but have tried hs6 an don’t care much for it. Until I got It moving 180 pf. Aa7 is dirty but All powder is dirty

I keep hearing that 3n38 is The Best for Open 9mm Major ...

Love to hear what you think of the AA7 in comparison    :)

I have shot both of these with a 124 JHP.  The 3N38 is a little softer and flatter but a pain in the ass to load.  AA#7 is closer to HS6 when running a 124 bullet.

9.9gr AA7.....124gr PD JHP.....1.180".....WSP

8.9gr 3N38....124gr PD JHP....1.190".....WSP.....compressed load

Tried in 2 different guns:

5" KKM barrel with 3 holes

4.5" SV Hybrid barrel with 2 holes

Hope this helps.
