alexmg
I'm very excited, recently I've got in my collection a shot timer from 1984, just as featured on the pages of 1985 American Handgunner magazine here on page #28 https://americanhandgunner.com/1985issues/HSO85.pdf I like how it says in right/top corner "new smaller lighter package". Dan Sierpina
The original had a lead acid battery. The newer ones didn't, hence the "Lighter" description. Also, when you turned on the originals, the display came up with Made For and the owners name.

Dan Sierpina
Way back, Pact did a trade in for the original models. Mine went back and got a newer model. I still have a MK4 and it still works fine.

benos
In the early 80's, I think I was at the Bianchi Cup, when Ronin Coleman (the owner of PACT) approached me and said he'd like to sponsor me with one of his timers. I can still remember the feeling at that time of being stunned, as I thought, "really, you are going to give one of these badass timers for free." Over the years I became good friends with Ronin... Stayed at his house a couple times when I was in Texas. He has a great sense of humor and is a rock solid human being.

And that is precisely why my son and I love being a part of the shooting community....and we get a kick out of making democrats mad lol
