rustybayonet
Just a thought here, I got a bunch of freebees and they seem a little dirty. How do you clean shotgun hulls?
Youngeyes
Timble their hulls? Doesn't that make you go blind?
CZinZA
No Untimbled hulls are an abomination and i certainly won't allow them in my house. All hulls should be timbled until the nifflets go plink. Then they're ready for ploofting Sent by Jedi mind control

Hi-Power Jack
How do you clean shotgun hulls? Aren't you glad you asked ???
Steve RA
Guess you could deprime them and then lightly tumble in soapy water. I'd just dry in sunshine or dry spot, not in a hot oven !
Dr. Phil
Oh GREAT!!! Now I have to start shopping for a TIMBLER! What media do you all use?

Dr. Phil
Probably wouldn't hurt to tumble them anyway... Thanks for the laughs bro!
practical_man
At my last duty station I shot a lot of trap, skeet, and 5 stand. A lot, like 10K shells a year. I normally don't clean hulls, just load till they split. Muddy hulls WITHOUT PAPER BASE WADS get a rinse in soapy water and dry in front of a fan. Hull with paper base wads get loaded once and tossed in the trash I have tried tumbling in corn cob. It just isn't worth the effort.
Pat Miles
I've heard it said that timbling is guaranteed NOT to leak, squeak or run down your leg. YMMV.
