D.Hayden
Anyone have recommendations for some decent work gloves good for cool weather that still have some dexterity? I'm talking about the 20's or so.. When it's truly cold, I'm not working outside.. lol
Dan Sierpina
I picked up some Carhartt gloves that are pretty good. My hands freeze real easy, particularly when shoveling snow, and the Carhartt gloves make that chore less unpleasant.
ecolyer325
I get the cheap white cotton gloves from harbor freight, then I get the 3 pack of mechanics type gloves from home depot. Wear the mechanics glove over the white gloves. I worked in really cold wet weather and it seemed to work out well while still be able to thread a bolt. perttime
... Wear the mechanics glove over the white gloves.... Just a snug pair of Mechanix might do it, for a little while - and add something heavier, if there's moments that you are not actually shooting. TonytheTiger
My acquaintances in Montana assure me you have cold weather there, I was just tugging your nuts a little.
HRider
Check out hwigear.com, they make some nice gloves. They tend to run small, I wear a large in Mechanix gloves, but have to get an XL in HWI to get the same fit. Hurley
turbopower18
I use Ironclads when its cold and snowing. Waterproof gloves slightly thicker thsn Mechanix gloves but we'll insulated!
Tech32
http://jtillman.com/products/gloves/truefit/1495/ I like these. I get them at the local welding supply house.
Frankly
Kincos makes some warmer, less dexterous gloves for real cold and they're inexpensive. For Springtime in the 20s the Mechanic Wear ones are good. The most amazing and expressive gloves I have cost North of $100 from Arcteryx and I can do 80% of what I can bare-handed - amazing dexterity.... but at that price I won't use them for work lol.
