  1. I believe that the JP bolt is designed so that the hammer won’t hit the firing pin until the bolt is all the way forward to prevent out of battery ignition. Is the bolt all the way closed when this happens?
  2. in my JP PCC I use around 4.4-4.6 gr longshot and 124gr HAPs and get right around 130-135pf. it shoots very soft.
  3. I have tried some different cheap factory loads so far at 120yds. Cheap herters 115 gr fmj have grouped the best. About the size of my fist. Going to try to load some and see what I can do.
  4. Has anyone experimented with 100-200yd PCC loads for accuracy?
  5. Zombies in the Heartland 3-gun match May 31st - June 2nd 2019 Grand Island, NE Amateur, tactical, open, and PCC divisions https://practiscore.com/zombies-in-the-heartland-2019/register
  6. I wouldn't call it misleading. I would call it a stage that makes you think and make sure you have a solid stage plan.
  7. I have had good luck with them so far. The only complaint I have is half of them are one way in the package and half of them are flipped the other way in the package.
  8. I liked the no external modifications, internal modifications are fine rules. Pretty simple, and I think the fellow shooters probably policed themselves on the rule infringements before the RO would anyway.
  9. How do you tell what is the correct torque? Too tight and pins break. Too loose and primers don't get pushed out.
  10. Just did the exact same thing Sunday. Even cut the case just like you did to confirm my suspicions. Whoever brings that crap to the range should be publically caned.
  11. I have a used MBX ½x28 I will sell for$50. It's what I paid, I have another one on a different gun and like it. I didn't think of verifying thread pitch when I bought it. I needed ½-36.
  12. I am assuming that they don't go ahead and serialize the gun without contacting the buyer first? Just curious if they ask you if you want the custom serial number, and how close to the end of the build do they do it?
  13. Not taking the opportunity to save where you can with a product of equal quality is bad economics.
  14. Yep, $19.99/1000@ Cabela's. I have a few$20 off $150 coupons as well.
  15. I am low on small rifle for a 3gun AR, and could stock up on small pistol for an accushadow, PCC, 2011....
  16. Found a deal on S&B primers. I have always used CCI. Are the S&B good to use?
  17. Thanks for the replies! What is that, a ¾" pipe nipple and a ¾"fpt x 1" glue adapter for the tool head stand?
  18. I have been loading on a 650, and now have a 1050 I am trying to get set up. My dies don't seem to be long enough (Hornady) to touch the shell plate without bottoming out on the top of the tool head. Is it ok to put the locknuts on the dies on the bottom of the tool head?
  19. Nebraska State Steel Challenge level II match. Sunday October 8th Heartland Public Shooting Park, Grand Island, NE. 9:00 am. https://practiscore.com/2016-nebraska-state-steel-challenge/register There will be 1st-3rd place awards for each division, and a random draw prize table.
  20. Had one in our squad. Pulled the rope for the pins on the drop turners and was backing up and reloading. The rope wrapped around his leg when he pulled it and tripped him up and he fell over backwards.
  21. We shot this same classifier last match. It was confusing, and the stage description wasn't clear. I remember it not saying"only" in the number of shots specified, because when I got home I read the description on the USPSA website and it was then clear to me that most people shot it wrong. I don't know where the description came from, or if it was old and had since been rewritten? It looked like an official USPSA briefing. Most people did the same and made up shots on the final string. I think where it said "the best 6 are scored", people thought that you could make up extra shots if you had extra time. I have taken the NROI class and shoot fairly often, but can't always remember the rules or find and interpret them correctly in the book. It could have been like us, and made an honest mistake on interpreting the stage description. I think people shouldn't be so quick to judge other clubs. There are many small clubs that don't have the resources of plenty of well educated RO's, GM shooters, or extra help to go around.
  22. Yes, I had the set screws out, but it still wouldn't budge. I didn't have a sight pusher so I ended up clamping the slide down in my shop press and pushing the sight that way. It was TIGHT!
  23. Is this rear sight drift adjustable? I am about 4" directly left at 25yds and would like to adjust the rear sight. I see the set screws, and tried tapping on it, but it wouldn't move? Help!
