doc88
Please tell me your experiences with Brazos BCG Pro Series tuned trigger kit in your STI Trojans or any other 1911 for that matter. Thanks.
Quack
Get this, same parts, you get a disconnector too. http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Extreme-Ultimate-Trigger-Kit-Lite-Speed-P372.aspx
bountyhunter
To their credit, the site does post the facts about: Tuning is necessary as with any trigger kit regardless of claims. YMMV.
rbridges
I have the kit on my edge and I am very happy with it. It was my first attempt at replacing any parts on the gun and it went in pretty easily. Nice crisp trigger that you would expect. 2.75-3lb pull. CHARLES D
I have them on 3 of my guns. Crisp trigger with no creep. Especially like the reset.
doc88
I've used the EGW Koenig Hammer kit in my Les Baers and love them but they are a LOT of work to fit and tune to the perfect trigger. Was just wondering since Brazos cuts and polishes the sear angles and fits the hammer hooks to the sear could I get a 2-2.25 light crisp trigger without 3 hours of work. Maybe just a little sear spring tuning.
hotrodder
I have installed 4 of the Brazos kits in the last year. I have all of them set at 1.75 lbs. and have had no issues with any of them. For me they were drop in with some sear spring tuning and required nothing else. I used the EGW or infinity disconnector with mine.

Brazos Custom
Quack - Not the same and easily verifiable with a little research. I cut the hammer and sear angles on every one of these kits. The sear spring has also been tuned and I actually put it in a 2011 to test it for tension. Every gun is a little different so you may have to adjust the sear spring a little but it should be close. The sear and hammer hooks are cut to what I have found to be the middle of the tolerances for most guns from doing thousands of trigger jobs. This makes them pretty forgiving. The one thing to check is thumb safety engagement - because the hammer and sear angles have changed and you have different parts in the gun you make have to make an adjustment to the thumb safety lug that engages the sear. It can be too tight or too loose. Edited December 19, 2015 by Brazos Custom

APL-G35
I've used one and worked great. 2.5 lb trigger pull. Just like bob said I had issues with the safety fitment. I called brazos and the walked me through everything. Great customer service. No worries.

bret
I have them in my 2 STI Edges, I am replacing the DVC trigger with one of Brazos triggers too, it's a good trigger but the Brazos is better.
kozy
Yeah I have had good luck with Brazos and always good about answering any questions
seanc
I have shot a couple guns that folks at the local club built with those kits and IMO they are astonishingly good. YMMV and all that but I was extremely impressed.
doc88
Thanks everyone for their input. Not one negative response and even a reply from the man himself at Brazos. Mine should be in later this week. Looking forward installing it.
