RangerTrace
I'm running Surefires on my 10.5 and 16.1 LWRC rifles. The work pretty well and of course they allow me to run my Surefire Mini if I want to....
troupe
Surefire here also.
chrislovett
I'm running a precision armament M4-72. Very effective but loud as expected.
chrislovett
How is the muzzle blast on the m4-72 or the armalite brake ? The M4-72 is LOUD, but it's extremely effective Edited February 16, 2016 by chrislovett
Vespid_Wasp
I've used the Rolling Thunder, the JP Cooley, and I'm using the Nordic Corvette right now. All worked well. The Nordic is inexpensive and lightweight. I did tune it a bit as it had just a bit more down force than I needed. Most of the good ones are loud, some are more nasty than others. gdcguns
Miculek is great on a budget. If you don't mind paying a little more, the seekins ATC is just as effective but not as loud.
alma
I have been running the Lancer Nitrus or the Seekins ATC. Testing the out the excellent $55 Obsidian Arms Thunder Brake Compensator on my backup rifle. It's definitely my favorite budget brake. http://www.obsidianarms.com/product-p/oatbc.htm

Jadeslade
Don't throw your flash hider away! In case you want to take one those tactical type courses.
CJW
Don't throw your flash hider away! In case you want to take one those tactical type courses. You kidding? I take an SJC Titan to tactical courses. I figure running that brake is the sound equivalent of strobe mode of my gazillion lumen flashlight. That's pretty tactical, right? polymerfeelsweirdman
JP has a new brake design in a recent video from their YouTube channel They were talking about the engineering and stuff that went into it but it looks just like a shiny miculek brake lol- maybe that says something about how well designed the miculek is
