Religious Shooter
The ones from Brownells are discontinued. Any other sources out there? Hopefully cheap.
fishsticks
Check with carbon arms. I seem to recall they had some, or were going to make some.
LSnSC
Find a trap or skeet shooter and get them to load you some. I roll my own, just leave the spent primer in. Edited March 11, 2014 by LSnSC
Dan Sierpina
Find a trap or skeet shooter and get them to load you some. I roll my own, just leave the spent primer in. Do you use regular powder in them, or substitute something?
Nuke8401
Empty hulls, 2x 45cal (230gr = 460gr, 1oz/437gr= about 1oz) bullets Construction adhesive Add bullets and fill with construction adhesive Close top of hull and tape over until set. Presto, practice dummies! Still using the first 10 I made over 2 years ago from Wally bulk aluminum base

LSnSC
I used powder before the insanity. Now I use plastic filler used to reload Hevishot and steel.
Dan Sierpina
I used powder before the insanity. Now I use plastic filler used to reload Hevishot and steel. Thanks, I was considering the old fireforming material, Cream of Wheat.
LSnSC
That would work. You may have to play with the bushing size to get the right amount of "powder". If you dont get the stack right you'll have a bad crimp and shot will leak out. Reclaimed shot will save you even more money. tyler79durdan
I roll my own. Deprime, resize, re-spent prime, ground ramn noodle, wad, shot, top card, and crimp. Stacking yoir load as if it were hot makes for a better practice round. The weight is there and in the right place, and all feels well.
WesleyB
I roll my own also.... i run them through my loader and use spent primers. NO filler for powder..... I do use a 1 ounce wad but use 1 1/8 of shot fast and simple
