Regional Multigun match, May 3rd&4th @ ETTS in Waxahachie TX

Recommended Posts

Xtreme multigun is hosting a regional 3-gun match in Waxahachie Texas at the ever growing ETTS range. It has a nice mix of bays and natural terrain. There will be 5 stages on Saturday and 3 on Sunday, awards and prizes will be one hour after last shot fired so everyone can get home at a decent hour. RO's will shoot Friday the 2nd.

Entry is $200 and will be open Thursday morning. We will have 5 classifications, Tac scope, Tac 1x, Tac Heavy, Open and LE which is identical to Tac 1x but only applies to law enforcement.

We are going to limit entries to 175 due to daylight restrictions.

Check out the Website Thursday morning for more details. Xtrememultigun.com

Stage descriptions will be released in a couple weeks, they will put a smile on your face and make your trigger finger tired.

Hope to see you there.

OOPS forgot the baby is due that week.. count me out..

Damn it Kurt! Get your priorities in order, my friend :)

Looking forward to both shooting and working this one. Sheldon Blackwell, Shane Guinther, Ting Sun, and crew have been heavily involved in several majors here in CENTEX and they've all been outstanding. Can't wait guys!

The match is filling up daily. Please go and register ASAP so you can secure a spot in this great match. It'll be a match for new guys to prepare themselves for their first major match and for the intermediate crew to further hone their skills. Besides, you could walk away with some great prizes and some fun photos to remember the event!

If those aren't enough reasons to come out, then come to see Ting and Shane's relationship blossom! Will this finally be the year to see them go official?

Howdy,

The only 3-gun match I've shot has been the TacPro match (about 12 times).

Is the format and scoring similar to that or is this a USPSA type match?

I couldn't find the rules on the website. Does anyone have a better link?

Thanks, Art

Art,

The format and scoring will be similar to what you are used too. If you have been shooting the Tac Pro matches you will be fine.

Round count is right around 70 on all 3 guns, no slugs needed.

The prize table is looking sweet for a regional match.

We are requiring a sling for your rifle on a stage 7.

Also we have room if anyone wants to bring a friend.

Stage 1 is all shotgun 30 targets

Stage 2 is a bay stage with all pistol, 42 rounds

Stage 3 is a bay stage with all 3 guns 15r,14s and 14 pistol

Stage 4 is a bay stage with all 3 guns 12r,14s and 10 pistol
Stage 5 is a long range stage out to 530 12r and 16 pistol

Stage 6 is a natural terrain stage with long range rifle out to 475, 12r

Stage 7 is a natural terrain stage with offhand rifle and shotgun 10r and 12 shotgun

Looking forward to getting out there. Should we bring range carts for moving gear around or can we drive to all the stages?

Driving to stages will probably be required rather than optional or prohibited.
