Briley Triggers for Benelli M2 Question
nicholastheczar replied to MarcO's topic in Shotgun - Technical
I have two Briley triggers on both of my M2s and they are awesome. Mine break right at 3.75lbs. Very crisp and as close to a "1911 style trigger" as you can get in a shotgun. For slugs, it has really helped me. Nick -
Not that he needs it, but I'll vouch for Jeff, he puts on a great multigun matches and works his ass off to make sure the competitors get the most bang for their entry-fee-buck! Everything is planned out to the littlest detail; sign up, you won't be disappointed. Nick

Fly into DFW, it is the closet airport and is about an hour from the range. Granbury has some good lodging and is about 10-15 minutes away from the front gate of the range. You could also stay in Cresson, there is one hotel, otherwise you could look at Benbrook, Weatherford, or Cleburne, they are all within 25 minutes of the front gate.

Texas Shotgun Series
nicholastheczar replied to jchris4769's topic in Multi-Gun, Rifle & Shotgun Match Announcements
I'd be all for a Shotgun series in Texas! -
I leave my 335 and 332 for my 55s and use TAC for my 77s. It works really well and I've managed to get my BDC holds for my 55s & 77s on my Vortex Razor to match each other.

Lily Camera
nicholastheczar replied to kneelingatlas's topic in Computers, Cameras, and Electronic Devices of Any Kind
I had been thinking about preordering this, but decided to get the 3DR Solo. It has the follow me feature as well as other smart shots. Granted its more money, but you get more functionality too. Now I just have to find one and wait for the gimbal to be released. -
I broke my MGM throw on my Vortex after two years of use and just went to a polymer one after buying a new MGM throw which were out of stock. I like the bigger handle on the polymer one but we'll see how long it lasts getting tossed into barrels.

650 upgrade to 1050
nicholastheczar replied to pointblanktx's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
For swaging brass, the 1050 is awesome. I feel that part of the 1050 makes it worth it in my book. I hate swaging. That said, I still have my 650 and use it to process (size and trim) my 223 and also use the 650 for loading 9mm. My 1050 is dedicated to 223 for swaging and loading.
