outerlimits
What am I missing? Aren't these some knock-off copy? I see no markings indicating c-more.
Shadyscott999
If the battery contact issue is corrected, I am all over this.
falconpilot
If it doesn't say RTS2 on the body, it is a knock off. I just ordered a real one from Shooters Connection.

falconpilot
The weaver style mount is now removeable instead of being built unto base of unit, and you can now adjust the brightness setting instead of just have OFF-AT-M like the old one. I've never had the battery problem with my old one, but have talked to some that have. Here are it's fueatures: Heads Up Display for Fastest Target Acquisition Super Bright 6 MOA Red Dot with 10 Manual Brightness Settings 1 MOA Click Adjustments for Windage and Elevation Featuring a Positive Locking Screw Removable Battery Tray Eliminates Re-Zeroing When Changing Batteries Removable Weaver/Picatinny Mount Included

Matt Cheely
The RTS does not sit lower than a 90deg mount. I hope now that the brightness is adjustable that the dot quality will no longer be an issue. Might just become the scope to have for open... I'll have the new mount ready in a few weeks. falconpilot
Matt, Looking at the new RTS2, it looks like it will fit your mounts for the RTS, no? I have three of your mounts for the RTS. If not, please put me inline for a silver mount, with blast shield. Thanks Jim
Matt Cheely
No the mount will be completely different for the new scope.

Seth Long
I'm assuming the new mounts are going to be built to have the sight bolted directly onto instead of using the weaver mount? That should lower it a little bit more.

eroc1l
Matt, If I understand correctly, the new RTS2 will mount to your orginal RTS mount if I leave the removable weaver mount on it, but it will sit a bit higher?

No, the original mount will only work with the original RTS.

ong45
Got a look at one of these today , brightness looks to be about the same as the old unit and the switch is an improvement . Mounting is kinda funky but nothing you can't work around .
