Optimal red dot size for USPSA/3gun

6moa C-More on the pistol, 3moa FastFire III on the rifle and a 7.5moa DeltaPoint on the shotgun.

If the DeltaPoint had the battery compartment and adjustments as the FastFire III, I'd run it on all of them.

I run a 6moa on my cmore. 8 is to big for head shots at 25yrds, 6 is perfect!

What targets are you shooting at?

A 12moa to covers 3" at 25yds. The upper A-zone is 4" wide by 2" tall....in other words, a 12moa dot won't even fill in the entire upper A.

I use Tasco Propoint 5 with 4 dot sizes on my scoped guns. Dot sizes are 4,8,12,16 MOA. Depending what I shoot and distance, will dictate dot size. On average, I either use the 8MOA or 12 MOA. Just nice to change dot sizes based on scenario, plus it's nice to have a 45mm objective lens...never any dot loss.
