srf
I talked to Gary recently about a build. I went to his website and it says 'closed'. Anybody heard anything? Edited March 6, 2013 by srf
latech15
I don't know, but I have a slide all packaged up to send to him. This is going to be a big disappointment if he has shut the doors.
Mitch Harrington
His website didn't say closed when I opened it. Just yesterday I received an open gun from him. It wasn't the quality of work I have gotten from him with the other two guns he built for me. Edited March 6, 2013 by Mitch Harrington
sfinney
Website says "CLOSED" when I go there.
Mitch Harrington
It shows closed for me now as well. It doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy about the issues we need to work out.
srf
I sent him an email yesterday to let him know I was ready to send him my parts. Too bad if it's true, but lucky for me on the other hand.
38SuperDub
I spoke with him via email last week about the parts I'm about to send for 2 limited builds. As sounded well. Maybe he is just not taking on any new customers. I sent him another email today so anxious to hear back from him. Brandon
sfinney
Maybe he is on vacation for a week. Maybe he is not taking on new customers. But "Closed" is the wrong term to use on your website if that is the case. Its not a neon "open" sign, its your communication with your customers. donnyglock
I agree with pinman. He did try to retire not that long ago. He might be slowing down and not wanting to work everyday.

blind bat
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the good guys keeping themselves well fed. Running a small business is not easy. Good on him for doing the resposible thing and shutting off the tap before the backlog got too deep.

v1911
I feel fortunate after reading this thread. Didn't realize he was so backed up. Im glad he didnt reply denying my build. I sent him a package Tuesday, after a few short days and a few emails, I'll be seeing a complete build next week.
