twyatt
My gunsmith hooked me up and it is the first one I've seen, as they don't offer a mount from the factory.

Mo Hepworth
I personally found the window too small to quickly take follow up shots. i had the Cmore sts. The CTS is more the proper size. Looks like it would be a good hunting optic. Edited September 24, 2012 by Mo Hepworth
crusader27529
So, what are the details? What base is it, and what if any modes were done to the gun? Is it a standard base model gun?
gunrunnerct
I am using a Tasco Optima on my Witness Elite Match. I used an Optima plastic mount for a S&W 59 and had to fabricate the dovetail block. http://www.guilfordsportsmen.org/bulletinfiles/WEM1.jpg http://www.guilfordsportsmen.org/bulletinfiles/WEM2.jpg http://www.guilfordsportsmen.org/bulletinfiles/WEM3.jpg
Steve RA
Here is my Fastfire III - which I recommend as it has click adjustments which seem to work quite well.
gennaro
It looks great. Has anyone had any reliabilty issues with this sight ?
Steve RA
First one I received didn't work properly, returned to Brownells who replaced it promptly, new one has worked flawlessly since then. I'd recommend the 8 moa over the 4moa.
gennaro
Steve RA, I greatly appreciate the information, the gun looks great, thanks again.
rerun
My gunsmith hooked me up and it is the first one I've seen, as they don't offer a mount from the factory. Years ago when i was shooting, Arredondo offered the docter sight with an extra battery base pad that they would mill into your receiver to lower your line of sight with the bore. its funny i have been away for 6 years and when i come back everybody is using this weird looking mount that turns a C-More on its side.............so it will be closer to your bore!...........Maybe the Docter was the way to go the whole time?................lol
Steve RA
That is the Arredondo pad under mine, it's drilled for a Doctor sight and by using the pad it will mount the FastFire.

zombywoof
I used this mount with slight modifications http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=261&categoryId=
AlphaSeeker
Thank you. Do you think the site cut on your witness is the same as the one on the match
zombywoof
Not sure. My witness is 15 years old, not sure if that matters. Had to have some of the meat cut off that mount to fit in my dovetail.

MrPostman
I had one on my first open gun which was a Tanfoglio TZ-75. I used a 1911 mount for the standard dovetail. I also used some double sided automotive moulding tape which made it very secure on the pistol.
AlphaSeeker
I am hoping that their Novak mount fits the cut in my Match.
coloradoshooter5
I was wondering if this mount: http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=265&categoryId=42 would work with the witness polymer?
Austin111
Gennaro, I have a FF3 slide mounted (Evolution Gun Works mount) on a Glock 23 (40 sw) with over 4,000 rounds secured with purple loctite. Never moved, never lost zero. It is however, a very small window and muzzle rise (with a 40sw in a polymer gun) will cause you to wiggle for re-acquisition. The FF3 is a great sight, great warranty....but a little too small for competition in a light weight gun. **** I just realized how dated the OP is, my comments are still valid but probably too long overdue to make a difference ******* Edited October 5, 2015 by Austin111
