Torogi
124gr MG JHP, 7.4gr Autocomp, 1.168"OAL. Im pretty sure it is uncompressed.
yoshidaex
115 and 124 grain bullets Hs6 or Autocomp Not compressed. Though if your shell plate snaps, it will fling powder.
smokshwn
I'm at 8gr of Silhouette and 1.18 OAL. I don't believe it is compressed. If so, just barely kissing the powder surface. FWIW one of the reasons I switched to Silhouette was the volume as it allowed me to load at a normal rate rather than artificially slow to reduce powder spillage. Aircooled6racer
Hello: I use 115 grain Montana Gold JHP's loaded to 1.170" OAL. It is not a compressed load using HS-6, Silhouette, 3N37 or Win Auto Comp. Thanks, Eric
BMartens
I've loaded Zero 115 gr JHP @ 1.145 and MG 115 gr JHP @ 1.150 and they were not compressed. Pretty close but no problems. Loads are from 8.5 - 8.7 gr of Silhoutte. I also load the same bullets with HS-6, same OAL and around 8.8 - 8.9 gr. Flatland Shooter
if so, can you share the recipe please? thanks in advance. One question. Does your gun have ports in the barrel? If so, I don't think you will be able to make Major without a compressed load. I've tried one or two of the powders others have mentioned and to make Major, I need to fill up the case. Hi-Power Jack
if so, can you share the recipe please? thanks in advance. If you stick with the 124 grain bullets, you shouldn't be compressing the powder. WAC (7.0 grains) has LOTS of room left in the case:) Jack

al503
I've tried SP2, True Blue, and AA7 all with 125 grain bullets. None of them are compressed.
Mat Price
yep here as well 7.2 grains of WAC @ 1.165 and 124 jhp leaves plenty room in the case
robot
Thanks guys!! this is awesome info. my gun has no ports so I should be safe without a compressed load right?
yoshidaex
Should be GTG just remember to work your way up slowly with a chrono.
Hi-Power Jack
GTG, work your way up with a chrono. +1. Don't develop any 9mm major load without a chrono. And, the OAL is important - at least 1.145" - and 1.16" is better. Jack
