  1. From my latest match, it’s a local series / points match. Cool stages and a fun prone one where I got rug burned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Here's my updated blaster with the Holosun 510c and Tevosports mount. It's actually a Cylon in disguise.
  3. use your phone for 3rd person view. Modern smartphones have awesome cameras with high-speed / slow-mo capability which can make things more interesting when you're dissecting your performance. As for hatcams, don't think there's anything better and more versatile than the GoPro Hero Session camera. First Person view is great when you want to see your transitions when engaging targets that are obscured by props , walls or heavyset ROs.
  4. not yet but thinking around the price of a regular match fee.
  5. ah! I haven't made those pages yet! lol sorry! It's just that one page for now. There are more videos of it on my youtube channel if you want to see the game in motion.
  6. hi guys, planning to release sometime in May to Steam Early Access. You can look at some screenshots and details here : https://www.practisimvr.com
  7. Here are the stages from Berry's Steel Open just last weekend. Split it up into three different videos for the three sub-matches. Steel Challenge, Dynamic (timeplus) and Scramble (par time). It was a really fun match that ate up around 781 rounds. I went home with 19 rounds! Enjoy!
  8. Awesome! Glad they're interested in USPSA. They'll be national champions soon. yeah damn. my 4th DQ, although this is virtual so I got a VDQ!
  9. Thanks! I'm building it on the HTC Vive but it should be pretty straight forward to support Oculus Rift & Touch.
  10. My first USPSA match of 2017 after a looooong break of no shooting and no dry-firing. Was super cold, super wet and one of those matches that kept everyone asking why they're out there feeling miserable. That said, there were some really fun stages including one that had all 1/3 sized targets, now that it is legal to use in Level One matches. Those are hard to shoot at! Thanks again to the PB crew for keeping the range open throughout winter.
  11. Paul Bunyan Rifle Club ran their annual Toys-4-Tots charity match again this Sunday. It is an outlaw USPSA-styled match that raised $1,300 in cash for kids. Always great to be out shooting for a good cause.
  12. Episode 283 - Target Color Have you wondered why clay targets are always orange? Did you know there were more colors than orange that you could shoot? Steve and Lin comes on the show this week to talk about the wide variety of clay target colors and how well they work. 13. Watching A-team, Airwolf and Knight Rider.
  14. Movember Classic Charity Match 2016 The November Charity Match run by the DownZero crew is a yearly match to promote the awareness of Prostate Cancer. They combine the USPSA stage design principles but with IDPA scoring. It's a fun match for a good cause. If you're male above the age of 40, go get a yearly exam and start tracking your PSA levels. Early detection is the key to survival. As for my match performance, well, watch the video. Some mistakes here and there but the biggest match breaker for me was my death jam on Stage 5. Sucks when a stuck case comes visiting. That's my 3rd stuck case in my years of shooting.
  15. Finally back shooting after a long break. [excuses] I found out during the match that I don't do well in cold rainy weather, my hands get all cold and beaten up. Got my thumb cut on something, left middle finger pinched during a reload, slide bite (for the first time) and thumb hit the racker. [/excuses] Scores: https://practiscore.com/results/new/28468
  16. It's pronounced like Joke but with an L Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. At every major match I attend, the ROs will call me "Lo-kee" so for this year's Trigger Treat, I decide to shoot as... Loki from the Marvel Universe. Halloween hosefests are super fun especially when it's held after the Nationals and you can release some steam and just blast away. Scores: https://practiscore.com/results/new/27607
  18. Episode 282 - How would you penalize the shooter for this IDPA stage? Rick brought up an interesting conundrum in episode 276 as a Trivia question. In this episode he describes the situation and talks about the decision he made on how to properly penalize the shooter for making a procedural mistake. Do you agree with his interpretation of the rules? 19. Day two was a much better day for me, less penalties but still pretty slow. Not sure what's wrong but will diagnose and work on it. Almost had a stage win on Stage 6, my first shot was supposed to be a ~.72 but missed and had to make up the shot for a total of 1.21sec. Great squad made up for a fun time. We got to squad with the USPSA Prez and it was an honor.
