mwx40x40
What are some good production legal holsters that will clear the tall Dawson precision sights? Thanks. As already mentioned the Ready Tactical, but also Blade Tech DoH, CoM, and Comptac will all work nicely.

EkuJustice
All are approximately the same price. Roughly 60 bucks
TGriff
I had the same problem with an Uncle Mike's holster. I solved it by creating a small channel inside the holster with a Dremel tool. I only had to remove maybe 1/16" of material to make enough room for the sight. Edited June 29, 2011 by TGriff
JohnGaultsGun
Consider the Safariland 5188. It will clear the sight (I use a .300 tall FS). They run about $35-ish. Be sure to use the "newer" version of the 5188. The "older" version has a large suede liner on the inside of the holster. The newer version has a much smaller suede liner (about 2"x2") in size. Blcksmk
I use a Dawson Precision FO front sight on production gun and use a Blade-Tech holster. Clears with no problems.

Outsydlooknin75
I've been using an old Talon Tactical made by Mike Benedict for years. I've modified it to be a dropped and offset with some kydex and a tek lock and it works great. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk

KungFuNerd
Serpa wouldn't fit with a 1911 with a .240 Dawson. Had to File the holster a bit.
