Well, my knee and my knee doctor decided that I have to miss this match and any other until the end of the year ... No Gator, no Area 2, no Left-Out Match ... Have lots of fun, shoot all A's very fast!!!

Hubcap is legal, safe .. will depend on the day of the week and the 'neighbors' ... I will not 'touch' Hubcap on a weekend with a 100 ft pole ... If you go about 1.7 miles past the Hubcap entrance they are a few nice shooting spots on your left side. I am member at Desert Sportmans, Pro Gun Club (Desert Hills) is a good option for a day pass ($10 I believe)

An aluminum Cmore will fix that ... unfortunately ... Seems that screws on plastic is not such a great idea after all ... Who knew ... But only seems to 'affect' certain batches/models/years ... I have 3 plastic ones and two have issues, one doesn't ... The Al one has been rock solid

As someone that has organized and run one of those big 'combined' matches (1992 Europeans, 30+ stages, 600+ shooters) and participated in several World Shoots, many Europeans and other large ipsc matches all over the world, after reading most of the comments I have to say that ... Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't ... Not many venues will accommodate that match (Las Vegas, Frank Garcia range in Fl, maybe St George), logistics are a nightmare, preparation is even worse. I know that I spend 11 months getting that match ready for not putting a single round down range in competition. I don't envy the team that will put that match together, whomever maybe will have my full support.

Jordi screw badly his knee yesterday and at best is doubtful to make it to St George. Paul, thanks for all the great videos, time and dedication.

Don't forget an extra long firing pin and to use Wolf or ISMI springs. Get a Dawson sear spring. If a gunsmith is going to do it, let him know what you want and let him/her put the parts he/she likes.

[Flame suit on] I'm probably the only one that does not understand the 'fixation' with the Classifier system ... For all of you ready to 'bump' .. good for you (and congratulations) .. now you can 'officially' sandbag the next major match and take top of your (lower) class. When Nationals and Area/Section matches are all Classifiers I will start worrying about them, in the meantime I prefer to enjoy 'normal' stages. [Flame suit off]

I guess we (USPSA) should move towards a World Shoot/Europeans model, Sunday to Sunday, 30 stages, all Divisions in one place. A lot 'easier' to staff and manage, vendors and sponsor can 'concentrate' resources. Drawback is that not many ranges/cities can support that model .. Just an idea (from previous experience)

Does anyone manufactures cleats on WIDE ... seems that all are Medium ,, my Salomons after a full day of shooting kill my feet!!

How do you learn then?? I'm known to 'test' what does not work at local matches so I don't do it at Level II and above matches. I couldn't care less to finish last at local matches as long as I learn something every time ...
