If the plastic C-more body sucked that bad, nobody would be using them any more. I have the same plastic ones on mine and my wife's open guns since 1999.

Years ago, STI used to make mags specially for para frames. You may want to put out some feelers in the classifieds. And no, you can't have any of the ones I have. My wife would kill me, because they are for her open gun!

You shouldn't have to trim the new main spring. The fact that the new one is longer could be that the old one was just tired and wore out. The old one may have become a bit sacked and that could be why it was shorter. I would try running the new one first before cutting anything.

You will need to remove the grip from the frame in order to replace the trigger. Do not remove the trigger from the bow. They are not meant to come apart. Generally speaking, the part should drop right in without any real fitting required. You will have to adjust the over travel screw a bit, but that is really about all that is required. There may be a bur or two that you might want to polish before installing. Nothing very difficult.

I still have the same C-more on my open gun that was put on it when it was built back in 2000. Gun has well over 50k rounds and the lens looks just fine. Same story with my wife's open gun and she got my hand me down gun. Having said all that, neither of these guns have any hybrid holes drilled in them. And, neither one of them are equipped with blast shields. So, long story short, it really is going to depend on how the gun is set up. Hope that helps out.

Just where is that sort of gun handling funny? I know it is Virginia, but where exactly? Cowboy. Let's just back this little train up. This video was posted as a bit of humor. Seriously, when was the last time you saw a gun fit that tight in a box? I know everyone of the people involved in said video. The owner of the pistol had it custom made to just barely fit the box and just barely make weight. He did this to help reduce recoil. The really funny thing about that is that he is about 6'6" and 225 lbs and the gun is a 9mm. Hence, that's the reason for the light ribbing of him. None of the people involved in this video are in any way unsafe shooters to be around. So, to quote the movie "Stripes", "Lighten up, Francis". Brett

A couple nights ago, while my 6 yr old son was doing his home work, we had this little chat. He is using a crayon to color some pictures. He says, "this is brown", and I say "yes it is". He then says "my humvee is brown" and I say "yes it is". He then says "Well, I guess humvees can be any color, really". And I say "That's true". He then says "Except pink". And I say "Ok". There was a slight pause. Then he says "Unless it's Navy". I just about fell on the floor laughing!

I shot my first bullet in '76, I was 5. Been hooked on the trigger ever since. After 8 years in the Army(and I shot a lot in the infantry) I found USPSA in '98. I shot all the time growing up, but USPSA has been one of the best things I ever did in life. I've learned more stuff and met more friends here then just about anywhere else. Just wish I found it sooner. Sounds like we try and recuit more folks!

For all intensive purposes, you are not going to notice any difference between primers from the major manufactuers. For USPSA and IDPA, it really is not a facor. For bullseye or benchrest, that is a different animal.

I have been using Universal for over 6 years in .40. I load 5.4 gr at 1.185 and it makes between 170-175 PF. Depending on what pistol I shoot it through. yes it is a little dirtier than other powders, but it also works well in other calibers. Not to mention it's availibility. All I load in .40 is 180gr MT Gold CMJ's. There is nothing wrong with this powder.

When I lived in Hawaii, we used to shoot an outdoor night match once a month. Three stages had lights and one was a "dark" stage. Sometimes you had a flashlight, sometimes there was a flashing orange light and other times you had the moon and muzzle flash! It was a super good time. I wonder if MPPL still does this? Good times!

He sounds like one of those that failed out of a school that they thought they thought they should have made it though. Maybe he is just a wanna be? He may be a good rifle shooter, pistols are a different animal.
