I have put on a few matches and stage design is always an issue of balance, I like the idea of applying DVC to stage design. I know I have done my job when get complaints for having the targets too far away, guys watching somebody shoot the stage and say "why didn't I think of that?", or seeing the score sheets and 1/3 of the pack zeroed out on a stage.

got a guy hooked on shooting IPSC 2 years ago and we went to all the matches together, last night he told me that he sold his gun and all the gear because he wasn't into the game anymore and needed the cash the ironic thing was I have a wife and family and couldn't get out to practice as much as he was and now he is getting married this fall because he saw that having a wife and family is more important than shooting, how do you make the two go together?

In my experience a 1 lb trigger is too light for the way I was taught to shoot, I use trigger prep between my shots and there is no way I can hold something that light, when I talk to M class shooters about trigger pull not many are less than 2 lbs.

I showed up at the clubhouse on Saturday to the flag flying half mast and I knew there was going to be bad news, but this was really bad. We lost a great guy this week, his dedication to the community and the club was exceptional. Most guys go to the range just to shoot and use the facilities but Keith was a worker and probably enjoyed helping to make sure everything was looking good + running right just as much as shooting. Thanks Keith for doing so much and we're going to miss you.

I printed the instructions off the old board but basically if you have the backstrap off and the grip safety hanging there you should be able to figure out what has to be done to make it work

jury duty selection this week, spent over 4 hours at the court house before we ever saw the judge, then went through all the excuses by everybody who didn't want to be there like getting over the sniffles, or my mothers cousin used to date the accused guys neighbour, and then when I gave them the excuse that I have to be on the road selling stuff to make a living, they weren't too sure that was a good enough excuse and would be putting me back in the pool, oh well, I guess I could be the dude on trial!
