  1. Your casefeed plate is not seated properly in the hopper?
  2. If i send you a quarter will you send me 2? Oh, and keep the change.
  3. I've had 2 polymer levers break. One during installation, the other after 1/2 dozen uses. I'm going to aluminum.
  4. This technology is already in use. Just ask any 35yr old living in moms basement staring at a 50" plasma screen going 'pew pew pew'
  5. For me the big difference is the gap between the hangar and the gun. The BOSS has a gap - the DOH has that offset leg that I would always jamb my thumb against. BOSS has room for my thumb to get on top of the safety during the draw. DOH - the offset hangar is too close to the top of the holster
  6. If you have the 550 casefeeder manual, your problem is covered on page 11. 'Fine Adjustment of the Cam' http://www.hitfactorshooting.com/support/RL550-Casefeed-Manual-May-2007.pdf (Can't find it on Dillon's website???)
  7. Bullet - Frontier plated 124's Powder - Titegroup 4.1gr OAL - 1.100" PF - 133 Primers - currently Winchester
  8. The Rule Book needs one more new rule Rule # 1.1.1.1.1 Don't make shit up.
  9. Old blind guys that can't handle the recoil of un-compensated 9mm loads tend to gravitate towards Open Division. People that don't like to reload and like punishing themselves shoot Limited Trophy hunters hide in L10 Over 70yrs old to qualify for Revo SS for people that just inherited grandpa's 1911 Normal people shoot Prod Div.
  10. Another vote for the BOSS hanger over the DOH.
  11. Not quite sure as too why. Striker fired - no external manual safety to apply - dump in barrel and run - no DQ if still loaded.
  12. Just some observations/personal opinions: Yes, there were a lot of 'no-shoots' - I believe I found almost all of them I felt there were too many activators. Resetting/accidentally tripping/resetting again takes up a lot of time. Simple 'popper activates swingers' are fine the but the foot stomp/handle pull/drop the can/etc are annoying. Although Stage 6 was tossed, resetting those 8 tombstones was tiring. The round count was good Half day format is good Good mix of short & long range rifle. A small number of 3-gun stages is good.
  13. I don't think paying 30% more will increase your scores by 30%.
  14. Every Shadow on the CZ website that has specifications shows 2.4lbs, that is 38.4oz. Which is correct, website or list? Stock II shows 1180g on Tanfoglio Website, which is 41.62oz, and 43oz on the EAA website but shows 44oz on the list. Stock III shows 2.1lbs on EAA website, 33.6oz, but has 45.85oz on the list. What is the correct weight? I will assume that when each gun was inspected by NROI for inclusion on the PD gun list that it was weighed, and that the actual weight, including an empty magazine, is what is listed on the PD list. My SP01 Shadow was 42oz last time it was checked at the Chrono stage.
  15. Reading the March BoD minutes there is an item about a weight limit for PD. Is there a gun out there that is that heavy and suitable for PD?
  16. Are there different rules for different classes of shooters?
  17. Must be the new prototype 550 - my 10 year old 550 seats the primer on the upstorke.
  18. Another vote for the BT with the BOSS hanger. BT's drop offset gets in the way of your thumb, the BOSS does not.
  19. Option #1. 9mm M&P No external safety 9mm (why would you want 40S&W for 3gun?) Plastic gun (do you want to toss your big dollar Option #2 or #3 gun into a bucket?) I find most 3gun matches favor the other 2 guns. (I just shot a local 4 stage match where the only pistol use was optional on 1 stage) No external safety
  20. Last years SMM3G had one stage that required 22 shotgun rounds. It had 10 steel (bird) 10 clays (bird) 2 steel (slugs)
  21. Ghost pouches work for me.
