Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. not the hex but just to show how a rifle length plus (14.6) looks like on a 18 and i like it just enough to cover and make it easy to adjust the gas block.
  2. Who makes your receiver? Or is that just a cerakote job? it's a DSA with Anderson slick upper...cerakoted and prolly coz of the lighting the color looks like gold but its actually copper.
  3. yes it is very light and can't go wrong with lancer systems they have very good quality...never had any issue with the finish specially the handguard
  4. yup you have to download the strelok pro and its around $12
  5. +1 are vortex and mgm levers the same?
  6. thanks for the replies really a big help! just emailed vortex and haven't yet get any info from their tech guys. so the switchview is much prefered and poly breaks frequently for me i just don't wanna run levers for the reason it might snag on something and damage the scope but from some of you it's not a problem so i'll see what vortex will do then it will be the switchview.
  7. oh didn't know they can do that but does it have any negative affect on it though?
  8. need some help coz i just got my new razor 1-6 and that mag ring is really tight! never used a lever since the rest of my scopes are easy to turn. need some input between mgm's switchview being too rigid and can damage the scope or the eagle eye breaks easy when they get snagged or bumped?
  9. can't go wrong with Bobro...for me this is how i rate them. 1.Bobro 2.ADM 3.Larue all of them are top notch in quality and guaranteed return to zero capability. eye relief always depends on shooters position and optics for me i always opt on extended mounts for more range in adjustability. will be able to fit under low profile BUIS and i use magpul mbus pros with no clearance issue. only thing i didn't like about the larue mounts is their locking levers where it slides and pinches the lower lip of the rail and this leaves the most cosmetic marks out of the three. thing about the Bobros is when switching different rifles that you don't have to re-adjust the locking levers to make it fit.
  10. does it really have a big difference between this and the JP lmos?
  11. just finished this today...thought about JP to just build me one but i wanted a different setup and ended up just using my spare lower and slick side upper with some JP and other stuff. here are the specs. JP 18 medium contour barrel kit with heat sink JP LMOS bcg JP SCRS buffer Lancer A1 carbon stock Lancer rifle length plus carbon handguard with premium slots Geissele S3G Seekins bolt catch and mag release battle arms safety Rhino magwell magpul moe grip KAC trigger guard Nightforce NXS 1-4 FC-3G Bobro extended mount
