  1. What do you guys think are better? I just broke my first power custom extended pin.
  2. Is the P10F competition still in production, I don't see it anywhere available
  3. Federal same as they always been. Remington stay away, hard as a rock.
  4. I'll second the LPA sights. Bowen are also a nice choice, the adjustments are just a bit more of a process.
  5. Many choices like the others have already pointed out. I run a 10moa RTS2 on 627 (egw mount) but going to an eight FTP Alpha. Iv run up to a 16moa on some rifles while this is an adventure to some stages it can be a distraction on others. The full size railway is just to heavy and bulky for me anymore on a pistol. But I have a dozen of them on rifles for SC. Honestly probably on of the nicest is the trijicon SRO. However it's pricey and only available in a 2.5 and 5 I believe. In my opinion it's a bit small of a MOA for SC.
  6. I did try this but wouldn't cycle %100. Think I may need to go up a bit to 4.2-4.4
  7. When I first started reloading an old timer at my club told me let the barrel size the bullet.
  8. Second please, or a 627 barrel. All my guns feel heavy theses days
  9. Just like open says be aware that many are black powder rated. I have one built turn of the century that I haven't shot yet due to this.
  10. Thanks man, I'm giving it my best and I don't like to quit to OCD for that crap.
  11. Thanks, that's what I run already in my open and PCC
  12. Looking to run around 100pf for steel Challenge loads.
  13. Does anyone know if you can use a 1911 govt recoil spring in these? I see on Ben Stoger s site he has a guide rod to run them. Wasn't sure if the stock ones could do the same. Thanks Squirrel
  14. Here in New England almost 95 percent or better or USPSA members. What the real issue is that after 3 years they burn out and pursue something new. This has been my experience shooting this for a couple years.
  15. Steve Miller makes a 200g hbrn. Iv used these in my 625 https://www.bearcreeksupplybullets.com/45200hb
  16. I currently have N310 on the fastest side to #7 on the slowest. And a number of them in-between. I was thinking of 4g of n310 under 95 or 115?
  17. Trying to figure a light Steel Challenge load for my czechmate. Would say 3 or 4g of fast powder going x velocity is better then 6 or 7 g of a slow powder work better. Looking at sub minor loads using either 100g or 115g. I understand that slower powder will work comp better but I don't think the comp will do much regardless at 1000 fps. Thanks
  18. Thanks buddy I'm hoping to get out as much as I can. I just have to pace myself these days more then I like.
  19. Wanting to quit, I completely hear that. Example just today shot a 6 stage steel Challenge, came home worked on a tractor for two hours, mowed lawn, did some other outside junk. Had three beers. Life seems almost normal. Knowing Monday is coming is like taking a perfectly good car and driving it into a tree. But just like you said the end game is worth it and the short game is temporary. Thanks so much for the support!
  20. I hear you 100% the neuropathy is pretty scary stuff. I lost two fingers and thumb on my left. Have you tried cymbolta not sure spelling. It's supposed to help with the never damage. I know we will make it through this but the road there is a real s.o.b
  21. We barely have anyone around my area running CO or Open. I can not see it taking off in big way here. Seems everyone is going RF at my local matches. Though PCCs do have a following. Do you guys have a lot of Open and CO shooters at your matches?
  22. Well I'm down over 50lbs from 248lbs at the beginning to 196lbs currently. I needed to loose weight but I'm getting pretty light, I'm 6'3". I made it through 3 out of 8 chemotherapy cycle. It's a pain in rear, get 2 hrs of chemo then a pump for 46hrs go back and unhook. Get a week off and do it again . On Monday I feel ehh okay aside from wearing that fanny pack, by Thursday Im pretty much at my low. The positive is that I seem to be ehh okay sorta by Friday and by Monday the following week I'm noticably better. By the time I hit Wednesday I'm back to 85+ percent. The most depressing is knowing I'm going back down hill the following Monday. Side effects vary but nausea and fatigue are the worst. I have not stopped though. I mostly shoot Steel Challenge and while I had to back off with pistols due to shakyness I made GM in 3 out of the 4 rifle classes. I force myself to practice and keep at it. I would not be able to do any of this without my wife though. For people going through this without anyone must be truly a massive undertaking. I'm worried about school starting again though not sure I'm going to be able to make it through the chemo weeks, have to see how that plays out. Might be week in week off, don't want to stop! I thought I would let you all know how I'm progressing at this. Take care and thanks for the support
  23. I would think it has to go in the 3rd station after the powder drop? I would set my powder drop for very light and let the M die open it up. I load 38 shots on 550 with no M die but definitely helpful especially with heavier bullets 150g +. Squirrel
  24. I emailed them a while back no response. I ordered the 920 one and used some heavy roofing rubber as a shim. After 2000 plus rounds it's stayed pretty well put. But id still like to try the 750
