  1. On belt, once I'm set I don't want to move and reset every time.
  2. Honestly unless your running some real lively 9s it's not going to do much. personally I wouldn't bother but that is my opinion. One thing I can guarantee is that you'll have fun cleaning those ports out of you run coated. Side note: my only ported revo was a 44. The 4 magna ports made 0 difference. I ran Russians.
  3. Be careful of too large of a dot. I started down this large dot rabbit hole two years ago. I tried almost every moa possible up to 16. Finally settled on a 6 being the best happy medium. But then again it truly is very much if it works for you, carry on
  4. The nice thing about bolt on plates is that they can be switched yearly for example. As for cupped plates and flattening them out, it's difficult in my experience. I have used a 50 ton shop press and they always seem to bounce back. I am not a metallurgist perhaps the right set up would work.
  5. Iv had good luck with 170 bear creeks as well. Steve is a great guy to deal with. Very fast shipping
  6. Really hopping plastic surgeon can use my rear to patch me up. Alternative is use the muscle from the inner thigh. This just keeps getting better
  7. Well in a matter of months I went from having cancer to not then testing positive again. I went to the oncologist Tuesday and surgeon yesterday. Without getting in the weeds I'm basically out of luck to ever living a normal life. Since my cancer is so low I will end up loosing everything. The last several inches of the colon and rectum will need to be removed. I will need a permanent bag. I have a number of appointments in the next few weeks to learn more. In addition I'll need to see a plastic surgeon in reguad to the reconstruction my rear. This is a worst case scenario and I'm trying to cope with the idea of never being normal. I do feel confident with my surgeon but honestly Im scared, and frightened to what my life will become.
  8. Isn't? I honestly haven't used alliant for much in years. However I can remember 25 to 30 years ago i was a kid my uncle saying what load do you prefer, at the range. I honestly had no real idea what he was talking about bullseye, unique and W231. However years ago we that I still recall him saying that. No other powders have stuck in my head like those. 2400 is in there too. Another part of childhood does.
  9. Starline is currently the only one producing bulk brass. RP is currently making factory loads for 38 short, however after looking awhile back was unsuccessful in finding just brass. If they did sell just the brass I bet it would be big $$
  10. I ended up just touching them with a countersink
  11. Thanks buddy, I'm actually just getting more pissed at this point. At first I had apathy for myself (a year and half ago), yes bad. Now I'm pissed after everything I went through its back what was the point of radiation and chemotherapy? My feet hurt like hell and I have it back, but certainly I'm not giving up, not by long shot, F cancer! Thanks for the prayers, faith, family and friends are huge
  12. Thanks guys, I pretty sure the next step is a knife for me. I'll know for sure next week
  13. Went for another probe last week, got the call from surgeon, it's back. Thought I was beyond this. I'll find out more in the next week I guess. Again when you think something is wrong don't take it's ok for an answer
  14. It's a totally personal thing when it comes to weight. I'm used to running heavy guns as Rimfire is not really a priority of mine. Most of the time I'm running a 42oz plus revolver so a gun coming in at sub 25oz is a feather. Even my rfpo which I do run a 6" volqs has added weight. Again it's trial n error.
  15. I only played with rfpi a few matches. But I was running a Ruger mk4 heavy barrel as the lite is way to light for me. Volqs trigger, tk thumb rest and that was basically it. I think the hot setup is a 6" volqs upper with the mentioned lower items. Look up what Adam Renno is running.
  16. A 325 barrel would require machine work on account of the shroud. Iv seen them time to time on eBay. I would also look for 25 (45colt) barrels as well.
  17. This has been.my thought on this the whole time. Why would you take such a narrow sample size that impacts thousands. Incorporating area matches into generating this number would be a great addition.
  18. I'll post a picture in a day or so. But no crack in plate, I actually polished it with 1500 grit just for fun. Thanks
  19. I thought about this with my 4" 627 then I realized oh right my 38 shorts don't produce any pressure . Use the money and buy a apex or TK hammer w pin.
  20. My 750s index ring has recently started to get hung up on the return. I polished the bottom of shell plate and also noticed that the pawl has a grove cut into it from the plates index hole. Once everything was polished it is running without hanging up. Is this pawl wear sound normal ?
  21. Kidd single stage hands down. Both the complete trigger and the parts kit are very good.
  22. This is a valid point. A question I have and I understand the answer is subjective, retention. I realize the rationale for changing some of the times, I do. However I worry that doing this could alienate the vast majority of competitors. I shoot with a wide range of skill levels as you all do and see the spectrum. Let's take for example competitor X, they've been working for the last few years to make A class. X made it to 73.75 now with the cut will be dragged back to 66.8. The next time uspsa dues come up they say "screw it". Competitor X has now become disenfranchised from our sport. I think some compromise of times would be best. Let's face it, people don't like change and we don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot over this.
