Not that this really matters more of a OCD type issue. When you sign up for a match that you have say shot 4 or 5 stages, not all 8. Do you consider yourself a "U" or do you put down the current class you are? Again I know this wouldn't really matter at a level I but could on a II or III. Thanks Squirrel

Honestly it's not really that bad of job to R&R on a smith. I would have him watch some YouTube videos a few times and take it step by step. The first few times I took one apart it was a chore now it's easy. The TK hammer does require some very minor fitting in the limited experience I have. Worst case he could send it to TK have them smooth it out in the process. There are others but they seem to have the fastest turn around time.

I have disassembled the mag no issues that I can see. I ran a mag brush through everything looks fine. I was unable to see any points of catching. Are there better followers out there ? Really don't need this crappin out on me again. Thanks for the help

That's what I'm thinking or hoping. Running rounds though by hand doesn't replicate the issue.

I just bought 5 new factory Glock 17 10rd mags. Today at a match one of them got hung up after the 5th round. Is there something I can do to prevent this. Thanks!

So iv been playing playing with N310. Conclusion is that it doesn't have as much energy as Competition. I do find it soft shooting though and accurate. Has anyone tried E3? Seems like the last of the fast burners that I haven't tried.

Accurate 5744 best powder for lead and large cases iv used. Worth the couple extra $$.

Thanks for the help, Im currently running ETS mags but as Mr Beaver points out they don't drop and half the time the 10th round pops out when inserting them into the recivicer. I think I'll look for some factory or Magpul thanks

I'd be interested in how you make out after cleaning. Im looking at running one of these for SC, 90 PF loads of possible.

I recall seeing him on "pistol masters" a video made on speed / steel Challenge. Im guessing this video was made in the 90's? Either way I recall Mr. Tapp having a very strong draw and competing with guys 20 + years younger and being very competitive. Sad to see another great one go.

I want to give an update on my situation as a few have personally messaged me. I have finished radiation and oral chemo as of three weeks ago. Currently I'm in some pain but getting better for the most part. It sure feels good not having to do that 5 days a week. Aside from my lack of strength I feel pretty good. Iv lost 45 plus pounds. I start 4 months of chemo on the 10th I'm not looking forward to enduring that but no it's necessary I think. At this point iv learned two things, be very grateful for what you have and be very thankful for those who care about you. It really helps me when friends reach out and ask how are you. I never knew in 37 years how much a few words could uplift ones soul on a depressing day. Thank you again God Bless Squirrel

I used to run WST for a couple years then when I couldn't find it I went to competition. I too had good luck with WST but it was kinda dirty at low pressure. However it was no where near as dirty as Tite group yikes. Attached is a picture of Tite group, Ram competition and vvn310 hard to tell but but n310 is slightly better then the others.

LPA or Bowen rough country sights are most popular. Lots of threads on this but it comes down to personal preference really.

That is exactly what is happening to mine in 9mm. Other calibers no issues to bad it works pretty good for what it is.

Unfortunately the case misses the die itself by a small margin.

It's odd because the case feeder has no issues with other cases, 38 short, 38spl/mag, and 45. I thought I'd give rcbs dies a try, well that was $68 wasted nearly the same issue as the Lee die. Guess it's back to running them on my SDB. Disappointing weekend

Are you using Dillon or other dies ?
