  1. I'm with you Buddy. Iv been at matches where people don't paint and get ticked. A friend of mine will go up to people and give them a can, saying are you allergic to it? At matches I run this is a non issue because people understand they are expected to help. Another area that grinds my gears is language. I'm not a goody goody but saying 'F' for every verb, noun and subject is disgusting. I was at a match this past summer where a guy was talking very inappropriate, this is with young children present, some people have no class. There's my rant. Be nice, be helpful.
  2. This would be for a c more slide ride. The mount is angled and lays the dot on its side. There are a few manufacturers of these here is a link. https://striplincustom.com/product/90-degree-c-more-railway-adapter/
  3. You should have plenty of adjustment. Talking high, take a c more railway on a pic rail now that's high . You'll be fine. In the future EGW mounts pretty low but the Alchin is just fine.
  4. There are some people who are current and did not show up in the rankings. This would skew some of the rankings.
  5. I hope so too, looking forward to not feeling nauseous or dizzy this year. Can't feel hands or feet but that should, should come back. It's a good feeling knowing I'm not going to by the farm quite yet.
  6. The Double Alpha case feeder for the 550 works well to. I use mine for 38 short and spl.
  7. ****UPDATE**** I had multiple scans/probes in the last couple weeks, clear. The doctor told me it's as good as could be expected. No surgery no bag. I'll need to be scanned quite a bit for the next few months / years but that's minimal. Iv only been alive for the last 38 years but have learned more this year then I have in the past 37. I'm very grateful to everyone here for the support!
  8. Yup, can't go wrong with a 550. Iv got square deal(s), a rock chucker, 750, and a 550. The 550 can do all, from a 380 to anything short of 50 bmg. If doing both rifle and pistol I think it's the best choice. If doing lighter rifle a 750 Is a good choice but more complex then a 550 for sure. Either way Dillon is my choice
  9. Most expensive stage is S&H. For the first year at my club we didn't run that one. We ran two bays and moved targets to pre pinned spots. Works well for what we have to work with
  10. We bought a set from GT targets a couple years ago. There's are made of 550 and so far have held up well. On top of that if one does fail he will replace it. As for the need of 550 v 500 I'm not really sure, the important thing is to have 3/8" thick. This might be a buy once cry once situation. Some clubs go cheap and go with 1/4" this really doesn't work well as the targets themselves fall off the 2x4 and experience cupping much sooner. For the bases it's around 50 or 60 a base. For the club we ended up buying two sets but for personal use I made two. Is it worth it, well I had some a material for the legs but the rectangular stock isnt really cheap. https://www.gttargets.com/steelchallenge.htm
  11. Stupid question, is the glass size and mount size the same as the full body version?
  12. I also believe that many are not aware that specific brass require a certain clip.
  13. Jim I stand corrected, you are right. However I shot with a friend of mine this summer who made it "x" percent however he didn't shot outerlimits. In this case he shot seven out of eight A number of times. A couple of times he skipped the stage to not take the percentage hit. I do remember now the 120s however this didn't go into his classification. He did eventually take the hit though when given the business. I understand his situation though, not many clubs run outerlimits nevermind on a frequent basis.
  14. It's a DNF, in a match the shooter would show up last. It would not effect rank at all beacuse if there is no time it's a just blank data.
  15. If you don't want to change the hammer out you can always do some cutting. This is what I've done on a couple of mine, tweak stock main spring, reduced rebound, plus extended pin and 1000-3000 grit paper.
  16. They work pretty well, excellent profile for loading. Iv run them in both 929 and 627s. I load mine pretty long so my oal is definitely not in any spec. Overall I'm satisfied with them.
  17. "the range is yours", "shooter ready, shooter appears ready", no "are you ready" just stand by. Sure are some creative people out there. How hard is it to say an incomplete sentence.
  18. 627 V Comp with 230s going around 1000' .
  19. Awesome work will definitely look ok though this later
