  1. I have been thinking of this myself. I do the typical .358 in a 9mm case for my 929 but wonder when seating and crimping do the dies swage them down to a .356/7 ? If i went to a 357 cylinder cut down this would solve this.
  2. It probably would help if i could feel my fingers too
  3. I think the weight of the return spring plays a significant roll in able to double tap. I run an 11 lb one on my SC setups so split follow ups are not as critical for me. However in the little bit I know I can tell the difference, the 11lb makes the trigger sluggish for sure. I feel as my experience grows I will up the return on those mentioned above as well. But its sure nice having that five and half pound pull.
  4. That's exactly what I'm talking about, thanks!
  5. My 750s case slide is making an odd sound it sounds like a "buzz" or something along those lines. It does not seem to affect performance or function, however its kinda annoying. I have taken everything apart and cleaned the components. I also have applied a little touch of grease to the ramp part. Is this just a quark these presses have? should I grease the slider and rail too perhaps?
  6. I have sent a letter to the hospital requesting a hearing on the f is going on. Currently I have not heard back on this. What I know I was in a good place for once in the past year and then this. Well at least I got a couple weeks with out worrying. Next probe in 6 or 7 weeks. One thing that I have learned is that if you want anything don't you must be your own advocate, fact.
  7. Thanks guys this is what I was thinking. I have the UFO light kit on it now.
  8. Hi, I have a 750 and just got the mini bullet feeder to play around with. Do you guys prefer taking out the powder check station or combine seating and crimping in one? This will be used with 38 Shorts if that effects your choice. thanks Squirrel

Mine is swearing like a sailor while taking 20 mins to find a tool for a 1 min job
  10. Berrys 100g RNHB was the bullet I was using at one point. These had exceptionally accuracy using 3.5g of Competition. PF might have been a bit under 100. I was using these out of a 5" M&P 2.0. The only thing I did not care for was the slide feeling sluggish. When i revisit carry optic later this year I plan on bumping up this load. A chronograph is pretty helpful in this situation just to check the standard deviation and spread. As i am not fixed on a PF but strive for consistency.

All this talk of cylinder spinning reminds me of days when I was serious about golf. I had a pretty bad habit of excessive waggles. In fact my coach in high school used to call me Sergio if anyone plays golf you understand. When I started shooting competitively I always used to shake my left wrist to slide down my watch. I mean how stupid could I be after the first shot the watch is back to where it was. Oh the dopy things we do.
  12. I know nothing about IDPA, but you really can not take a sight picture when given make ready?

I spin the cylinder before closing. Does it have any affect on functionality absolutely not but have done it for a number of years
  14. 1/4" 400 is minimum. Anything less will dent and cup. Trust me I tried this a few years ago before getting heavier plates.
  15. And rimfire revo never made it off the ground
  16. In my opinion the the draw to SC is that you can shoot basically anything you already have. Many of the other disciplines require X gun, X holster, X mag pouches, X clothing, and X ammo, SC shoot what you have. This makes the bar low for entry and as Z said above if someone new likes it after trying it a few times they will invest in the gear. Okay that being said I prefer centerfire handguns, but then again I'm the odd one out shooting a wheel gun. However that being said I have shoot all the rimfire divisions and PCC's as well. I will say this if rimfire was taken out of SC I believe the impacts would be very negative to this sport. Yes it does suck that at many matches only a few people shoot centerfire, but then again Im really running against myself in any division. Yet it is nice to see that time and day how you stack up against someone else.
  17. Sure does, progress at a snails pace. The worse part is communication by far. How many ways can you talk to someone these days 5 ways plus. Yet it's as of I'm talking to different planets. Not to get to far into the weeds but one doctor says to monitor and see if it progresses the other wants to do radical surgery that will impact my life drastically, especially at my age. I however can not complain about the care I have received to this point. I wish everyone was reading the same book at least I understand the same page is a bit much to ask.
  18. Has anyone found out the right combo of pieces needed to run a 750 for 38 short? If I recall correctly Fishbreath had played with this a few years ago. Thanks
  19. Yes, shooting two guns is not an issue. If it is then the MD needs to be informed so the issue can be addressed. I have competed in steel for two years and have run two since the start. However iv always run two different guns. My initial question was shooting the same gun does it help? In my case I want to improve on my osr and isr. Would running another division first help ltd w isr and opn with osr. It's strictly a subjective answer as some think it helps while others it may not.
  20. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Why aren't these people on the same page. It really ticks me off when one side says your doing great and the other is saying your screwed. Sorry just getting frustrated with this. It's not that I wasn't before, chemo & radiation but those were cut and dry. Now it's to the point that the left hand doesn't know what the rights doing
